Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
dunbar is dumb as hell. a guarunteed supreme court position is better than running for president. they were still in the primaries and she didn't even have the democratic nomination sewed up. I would have took that supreme court job and kept it moving.

jackie's dumb ass. she kept on flip-flopping and frank had to son her at the end. he sonned dunbar as well. dumb jackie should have played it cool and been frank's running mate. he already hooked her up with that WHIP position once he became the VP in season 2.

and remy. this nikka out here :cape: for real. why would he quit being a lobbyist to be white house chief of staff in the first place???? lobbyist makes waaaaaayyyyyy more bread than that chief of staff job. and do less work. only perk is having access to the president. I kinda called :duck: on the police slamming his black ass for a traffic stop in DC. if ur a cop, you best believe you know who the major players are in the white house. and if there's a black chief of staff, you'd know it. remy could have fukked up they careers if he wanted. I'm glad he stepped down, cuz I prefer stamper in that position anyways. we all know he's more cutthroat and lives for this shyt.

also, this nikka remy, been in love with jackie since they first fukked. and steady catching feelings for her even after she got with her husband. I am not sure where they are going with this storyline, but if that scandal erupts, she can kiss her white house aspirations goodbye.
goes back to the first season

money is the new mini mansion in beverly hills... power is the brick estate house that's been around for generations - frank talking about remy

so basically frank must have convinced him the power would be better... and realistically, being the top man to the president would have WAY more perks... and you still making 6 figures

Watching this Underwood turmoil is like watching Jay and Dame split...first the Fat Boys break up...:mjcry:

Claire said they were lying to each other but really she was lying to herself. It was her own lack of faith that put her in this position. She forced Frank to name her ambassador because she didn't believe he'd win re-election so she wanted to be sure she got something from their current position. Even though the appointment surely hurt his re-election bid, Frank agreed, cuz it was a partnership.

Of course, she promptly failed, and despite that chink in the armor Frank has fought his way back to pole position to gain the democratic nomination...then Claire decides to leave, smh.

I don't buy this "equality" bullshyt as the reason she's so pissed off. She knew there was just one chair in the oval, and she was perfectly content in their relationship when he was the Majority Whip with real power and she was just the head of a non-profit who used her husband's power to make moves. Nah, she's just reeling from the fact that her failed power play has stymied her hopes at attaining a position of power.

fukk Claire Underwood:pacspit:

:manny: she didn't know what she wanted until she got what she thought she wanted.

They made her grey as hell.

You stood behind your man and he succeeded cause of your help and we all know it (women audience :gladbron:)

you decide it's not enough (male audience :what:)

As long as it doesnt open up with them renewing their vows or some dumb shyt, it should be interesting.

Hopefully it's a season of Francis :hula: The Woman Who Made Him And He Wouldn't Be shyt Without

I don't know bro, Claire's no dummy. Even if she just realized that she wanted to sit in that seat once they walked in the Oval, she knows that she wouldn't be able to get it overnight. She'd have to first run for a lower office, then maybe take a cabinet position (a la Hillary) then she could make a run at it. Her best shot would be her husband winning re-election and having a successful presidency. So why would she sabotage that by leaving him now?

I think she's still reeling from her failure and is jealous that Frank has been able to take the setbacks and remain in contention towards achieving his goals.

watch next season be them going to war all season only for her to finally back down towards the end... IDK man it seems like this show blew its load too fast, with him already being president what is left for him to chase, and how exciting would it be for him to win another term if there is no known threat to him? And the heel turn they forced on his wife was weak to me and we really don't need another super annoying bytchy tv wife, I cant take no more after BB and the wife from ray donovan

Agreed. Claire was the such a likeable wife for most of this series compared to many of the other series, which makes this shyt so much worse:mjcry:

Regarding his meteoric rise, I agree, they could've slowed down on that, but on the flip side, it gives the writer's a convenient way to end. And if this goes just 4 seasons, I'd be ok with that.

just finished s3 :wow:

you're supposed to "like" frank because of how fukked up he is...for those of us who like him. he's an anti hero, kinda like walter white. his redeeming quality IMO is his dedication to his goal (which I'm not even sure what the end game is being that he kinda doesn't seem happy as president either). dude is a pure manipulator, he wasn't able to pull the wool over everyone's eyes this season, but he is basically on some political get down or lay down shyt...it's epic.

and yes, kevin spacey needs to hit the rowing machine and let the pb&j sandwiches go, dude got so :flabbynsick: this season
heavily disagree on that. WW is an anti-hero. Frank is just an ass. WW atleast started with some redeeming qualities or facets of his personality the viewer could appreciate or understand. Frank was vicious from the beginning with a sprinkle of humanity here and there
