Plus they don't need him until the actual presidental race as he's the republican candidate

Pretty sure Frank said he's out of contention because of some scandal.:patrice: It was the reason why Mendoza ended up being replaced as the GOP representative of Congress when they gave Frank the proposal of 10 billion for the Hurricane = No more FEMA money (which meant no more America Works)

Damn Claire is such a selfish bish, she can't play her position ever. She is very impatient. I mean Francis really did go above and beyond for her and this is the thanks he gets. He didnt have to allow her to go for that Ambassador position and she went for it anyway and still got torched by Mendoza. Then he overrides her not getting nominated and gives her the position. Then she fukks up with the Russians and forces Frank to kneel to that Russian c*nt of a president and makes him fire his own wife.

:stopitslime:

bytch, Learn from Hilary Clinton and Fall back until the time is right.

Good riddance to her :camby:

Season was a let down...only really got good the last three episodes. I'm going to rewatch for the nuances, but the storyline fell flat, tho I could see how they're setting it up for season 4

frank has basically abandoned everyone, I don't even trust Seth right now. All he has is this weirdo Doug who's imbalance is going to get him caught up. Claire leaving? shyt is fukked up, the amount of people they fukked over to the top, she knew what he was. Franks downfall is about to epic :banderas:

And thank god they spared us another gay scene :scust:

i also don't see how Claire still thinks there is a position of power for her. She fukked up her position as ambassador, clearly is susceptible to being manipulated, has no political experience, a shyt ton of skeletons, but she thinks she's going to be president? :rudy: and the subtext is there for her actually running, all the talk about her being likable, that stay at home mom saying she'd vote for Clair, her being the reason the poll got close, the whole "equals" thing...swear to god if they jump the shark and make her president I'm canceling my netflix subscription :birdman:

Season ending spoilers/questions:

So what prompted Claire to leave at the end? Did she truthfully think that her and Frank were "equals" in anybody's opinion except their own... of course the public image of who matters more is going to be tilted in the elected official's balance. Did she not realize what she was signing up for when they got married decades ago or did she expect being the First Lady would be different somehow?

The only way her leaving NOW makes sense to me is if she realizes she blew her chances at ever being a high ranking, elected official w/ the whole Jordan Valley disaster and just said fukk it
remember the housewife and the baby? it was pretty random, but it was symbolic of how claire was feeling & what she needed to do

the biographer they hired wrote that the underwoods had a political legacy they were leaving behind instead of kids. The political legacy/career is pretty much Claire's baby.

Claire is technically a housewife herself at this point. her decades of experience in the nonprofit sector is devalued by politicians like Dunbar and congressmen as if it was a hobby which made her feel her legacy was worthless

so she knocks on the door of a housewife with a baby. The housewife is symbolized by Claire and the baby symbolized politics.

on the outside (of her home) it seemed like the housewife supported Underwood because the signs supporting his campaign. on the outside it seems like Claire supports Underwood because she's campaigning for him.

Both feel like they do the bulk of the work taking care of their baby. Yes, even Claire. Claire is campaigning for Underwood because he's too unpopular to win votes without her.

Neither agrees with Frank's policies. Claire voices her wish to make decisions with him.

Both are in marriages of convenience where cheating is common.

Both have a love-hate relationship with their babies in the marriage (Claire's baby is politics) because the baby is the only thing keeping them there

the housewife tells claire if she were in her shoes she'd leave her husband & that she'd vote for Claire if she ran. (if a political career is Claire's baby, then the wife is basically telling claire she should be a single mother)

I think leaving Frank was Claire's way of smothering her "baby" with Francis like the wife wishes she could have.

chances are Claire doesn't want to be high ranking if it means she has to depend on Francis anymore. she did voice that she hated needing Francis

:wow: Doug is officially back brehs

Like others have said Claire just got too hungry, look at the ambassador job, she didn't earn it but frank still got it for her. She fukked up and she had to lose it but still couldn't accept it and fall back.

I dont get Remy tbh, what did he expect from his job? Jackie's p*ssy had him throwing his whole career in the bushes :dahell:.

The fake Putin was definitely the MVP of the season, the sonning he put on Frank at every opportunity

I cant wait for the next season, no way frank can even beat Dunbar without Claire to get them female votes. i guess it will be about frank trying to get her back and winning the Dem vote.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
*It's funny to me that people actually "like" Frank. I don't think dude has one single redeeming quality as a character. Misappropriating funds for a :flabbynsick: ass job bill and in the process usurping entitlement programs (who the fukk is trying to work until they're 77?), pissing on his father's grave; the shyt at the church (breh, I'm a damn agnostic), etc. Even Freddy doesn't like Frank. shyt, Claire is realizing now that she doesn't "like" Frank. People tolerate him, but I legit can't see how a mofo could "like" him -- real life or otherwise. As for Claire, at least she has some semblance of humanity and veracity in her. Frank has none, zilch. When Claire told Petrov shame on him for Corrigan's death, Frank would have never done that. I'm much more partial to Claire as a character than I am to Frank.

* I don't think Claire or Jackie are fine or anything. I actually hope I never see ol' girl that plays Jackie nude again. She does absolutely nothing for me on a sexual level. Back to to Claire, don't think she's "bad," either. Her character does have great sense of style on the show or whatever. The baddest woman on the show is Cynthia, in my opinion. For full disclosure, my interest in white women on a scale from 1-10 is about a 1.

* As a resident Coli finesser my damn self aka a choochie magnet in reality all I can do is :salute: Doug as the shows sole cookie lure.

* This season had a lot of moving parts that really went nowhere. :dahell: was Doug on a that beginning of the season? What kinda :demonic: as lifestyle was that? :dahell: did that doofy as hacker do all that reconnaissance and shyt for at AA meetings if he never intended on telling where Rachael was anyways? :dahell: was the gay stuff that just came outta nowhere with Yates? At one point dudes where poppin' outta the bushes like: :steviej:. The old dude from the Sentinel, Yates was trying to get his bid in, and Meachum was on real protective, "That's bae," shyt at one point too. I'm was legit like :ohhh: where is this going? And I'm non-homophobic. I was seriously wondering where it was headed?

* I can't say if I liked this season better than 2 yet. I have to get a little distance from it before I can put it in context. I do think season 1 was the best season by far, though. It's very hard for me to see how this show could run for another 3-4 seasons. Spacey damn near has a wing in :flabbynsick:gardens. Mofo was doing all the rowing in season 2 to come back even more robust the next year, and the story becomes more convoluted and disjointed each season.

*Just my thoughts*

This season made frank kind of a good guy in my eyes . Claire really started feeling herself too much , im not sure what she wanted in the end . She was ride or die in the beginning now she having a mid life crisis or something

She turned out to be just another annoying ass wife ala Carmela and Skyler.

It happens on every show. These bytches ain't loyal :bronlol:

Yeah I feel like this show is getting worse.

I don't think they've done a great job of closing out certain story lines.

I didn't like they way they closed out Zoe and Lucas.
I don't like how they just keep getting away with shyt. How they had to off Rachel at the end. She wasn't a threat at all and completely pointless during the whole season.
The bullshyt with this America Works book was stupid.
Why is Doug Stamper still a major character on the show but Peter Russo gets killed off in season 1? Russo was one of the best characters.

It's kinda bullshyt how Underwood keeps getting away with EVERYTHING.

on episode 4

What the fukk is wrong with Frank? You KNOW how sharp Doug is, from years of working with him & you don't want to utilize him? The reason why Frank was able to get shyt done was because Doug was his loyal consigliere. He's weak & oblivious as to why.
