i was sheltered?Sounds like you were sheltered. How old were you from 93-97? I refuse to believe you didn't know anyone who listened to Wu.

Yeah - I already made the point you're trying to make when I said production wa subjective.
The RZA ain't hip hop now? I get that you're trying toile a point, but you lose credibility if you're just willing to say anything.
Stop. Dudes travelled the 5 boroughs battling MCs. The music reflects the late 70s. The actual patrons of park jams making beats. the Jazzy Jay, Kool Herc shyt. not the sugarhill garbage. Mannie made bounce records stemming from booty shake music. Theres nothing cultural about hedonism.
And those albums really do run into each other. I own them all. Can't recall any song titles or anything past a handful of tubes. It's more of a haze.
36 Chambers, Tical & ODB carry similar traits but really mostly just share the low fi, raw, old school sound. From Cuban Linx on up shyt got very advanced until he burned out after Forever.
I know you don't really have mastery of the Wu albums.
Wu Tang is still a viable act and younger kids are getting turned onto them all the time. Most likely if you run into a K Dot or ASAP fan they'll likely be a Wu fan as well.
i was sheltered?man i'm done with arguing with y'all nerds...i'll let y'all indulge in y'all imaginary world
im saying, i hate when I see a '90s east coast rapper being seen as more hip-hop off the strength of the fact that niccas want to twist the rules around. that chit is corny.
park jams are parties.
the beats they rapped over were danceable. the emcee would keep the party going.
everything you said in the bolded can be said for mannie fresh in his own right. you just don't want to see it because youre too busy brushing it off because it doesn't appeal to your specific tastes.
ive been listening to wutang since the beginning homie. AND IM FROM PHILLY. im no stranger to "the mastery of the wu albums".
you talking bout gay @$$ niccas.
Wu Tang is fukking known globally.![]()
might of scared wayne, but not the others. But we know how shook ODB was in prsion,it's documented and we know that method got his feelings hurt when joe buddens said he'd out rap him. Instead of battling,he complained. And Ghostface was crying to his myspace fans.
Them nikkas aint THAT hard bruh.
And i never liked that corny ass song
MF doom is nothin,so.....
Jesus piece,i might give him that.
Stocking caps on the face.... just cause he start doing it,doesnt mean it BECAME COOL
ACTION BRONSON? nikka YOU'RE NOT MAKING A GOOD CASE AT ALL.
nikkas had big ass medallions before ghost,if his medallions was a lil bigger, bravo, but he aint getting no points from me for that.
thought this was wack and i still think so. it was corny.
this dude never even heard of aaron hall.
the funny thing is, in ghostface's 1st solo video, HE MENTIONS AARON HALL'S NAME.
I like wutang but I think a lot of their fans kinda turn me away from their music sometimes.
wutang's artists had their own styles and their albums were different from each other, yes. BUT NOT VASTLY.
the same exact thing could be said for cash money. bg's chit didn't sound like juvi's. they didn't sound like Wayne's joints. and they didn't sound like turk's.
imo, both arguing sides are extreme. im in here just
oh and mannie fresh is just as good as the rza, if not better.
MF Doom is nothing?
