The Infamous is better than anything Wu related. It's the GOAT.

Rae and Ghost are both talented and both developed tremendously following the release of Illmatic and the focus on lyricism that came from that lyrical masterpiece.

Not sure what you consider flow if you thought they're flows we're god awful on their solos. Ghost was rather simple on 36.

RZA far surpasses Mannie and Quik. But production is subjective. I'd say it was too raw for you, but you like Infamous, which is raw dog.

What other east coast stuff you like besides Infamous and JOE?

First albums i ever owned as my property were lyte, salt N pepa and Big daddy kane.
Other retail albums i've owned (not all, just coming off the dome with a few)
Dmx 1st album, bought his 2nd,3rd and fourth the week they came out. Bought a few jay albums. Bought 2 ja rule albums.
No way out,Harlem world,PD forever,double up,hardcore,Jr. mafia album. Firm,it was written,streets disciple, Purple haze,diplomatic immunity 1 & 2. RR vol 1-3. Naughty by nature,rottin razkals,da youngstas/illy funkstas.
I'm real with this.
For example, this came out around the time,my homeboy got his first car and my brother got a car six months later, year after that i got my car
and bumped this heavily from 95-99

But i didnt know anyone who was bumpin it like that besides me so i'd never act like it was poppin like that.

Same with

bumped religously but nikkas wasnt on it like that.

However,i didnt BUY this but it was being bumped by everyone in my clique, nikkas at school. Strangers driving pass in various neighborhoods etc. So to me it was hot as far as impact

Stop. Dudes travelled the 5 boroughs battling MCs. The music reflects the late 70s. The actual patrons of park jams making beats. the Jazzy Jay, Kool Herc shyt. not the sugarhill garbage. Mannie made bounce records stemming from booty shake music. Theres nothing cultural about hedonism.

And those albums really do run into each other. I own them all. Can't recall any song titles or anything past a handful of tubes. It's more of a haze.

36 Chambers, Tical & ODB carry similar traits but really mostly just share the low fi, raw, old school sound. From Cuban Linx on up shyt got very advanced until he burned out after Forever.

I know you don't really have mastery of the Wu albums.

no you don't stfu nikka :laff:...you know a few wu tang fans in yo lil circle of nerds

This is where a doof like you falls on your neck and your back. My homie PC is on Warren G's second album, credited, and runs with Monk and the Black Knights. These are grimy Ling Beach and Compton dudes. Plus all these little young hip bytches stay with the same stock older acts in their iPods...Tribe & Wu, BIG & Pac.

Wu Tang is still a viable act and younger kids are getting turned onto them all the time. Most likely if you run into a K Dot or ASAP fan they'll likely be a Wu fan as well.

:wtf:

Wu-Tang headlines RTB in Cali at 45,000 seat venues. Somebody is going to see that shyt.

And Eiht, Quik, E-40, Pac, WC, Crooked I, etc. was all fans back in the day so somebody on the west was playing their shyt.

i've already had this discussion with you fredrick..you can replace wu tang name with anyone else that's performing and the event would still sell...the event itself is the draw

yes...somebody was listening to their music...just like somebody was listening to e-40 in ny...that doesn't = they were big :why:

like i said a few nikkas in ya inner circle...casual fans outside of those white hipster bytches who ain't even really true fans of these older artists don't listen to no fukkin wu tang clan...it's hilarious you had to stoop to using hipsters to defend your argument when in any other discussion a hipster musical taste would hold no merit...hypocritical loser :laff:

So you're great revelation is the casual perm wearing rider in 1994 wasn't a Wu stan? shocking. Good thing there's an actual hip hop community in LA to balance that out. Think Alchemist, Cypress, King T, Dilated, Pharcyde, Sway, Revolution, Chino XL, Rassy, Tha Liks etc.

But guess what? the average house shoes and dikkies rocking Carson resident wasn't playing them either.

Do you realize how silly you sound? RTB was organized FOR WU-TANG. There was even a documentary on how the whole tour almost fell apart when Wu didn't show up.

Matter of fact....

Literally thousands of people, in Cali, shouting for Wu-Tang, and they ain't the reason all those people are there? :heh:

And :wtf: at "they wasn't big". They were so big Pac wanted to sign them to Death Row East. Think about that....they were so big the biggest record label on the west coast wanted to sign them. The fact that you're trying to equate that to "someone in NY listening to E-40" is :heh:
