Yeah I'm 47% through the game now. Still doing a ton of side missions. Im level 30 now and my story mission says it's level 14 so I've barely touched the mainline missions.
Do you get that special armor down in that cavern by doing story missions?

Yep. You get almost all of the power cells through story missions. One of them you can pick up by revisiting one of the bunkers while exploring.

What sling shot are you using? I have the shadow sling with 3 mods and it's devastating.

i put in about 2-3 hrs of hard grinding, only to forget to quick save. lost my sharp shooter bow and i forgot which trader sold me the resources for it.

I got the best one(better than the Shadow version) by completing all of the Hunting Ground trials.

You will also get the best Ropecaster and War Bow.

naw it doesn't. it only auto saves if you're doing quests and shyt. if you just running around killing shyt, it ain't auto saving. that shyt is weak.
