I feel Horizon and GoW would be better off animated, ala Invincible and Castlevania.
Granted, Prime (The Boys, Rings of Power) and HBO (Peacemaker) have a better budget/track record for live action metahuman shows than, say, Netflix (The Witcher)... but even those were much more grounded than the fukkery Kratos and Aloy would routinely be indulged in. I suppose we'll see.

How in God's name are they going to do a God of war live action correctly? Kratos is too out of this world to be replicated in live action. The whole universe is out there.

I think they can do it. They did well with The Boys, another Sony property
