I slept on the first game game I didn’t play until the DLC had dropped but oh man was I hooked. All I in about this one is you can use a paraglide that’s it I’m going in dark

I think RDR2 mighta been the last open world game I can truly say I got lost in

ghost of tsushima had a very decent open world but I don’t think it had that impact on me tho

Most of the reviewers I saw were showing resolution mode for some reason. IGN had performance mode going and this game is quite a spectacle to look at. I definitely won’t be opening my work laptop Friday I’ll be on this game all day.

I was totally engrossed with GOT open world. The way it looks just really grabbed me and full immersion was activated. ESPECIALLY the ps5 version…. My gawd that game is beautiful

visually it was but outside of killing bears and chasing foxes there wasn’t that much interaction with the environment…imo that’s what puts open world games like BOTW and RDR 2 (for examples) on another tier…I could literally get lost/sidetracked in those games

True but i really appreciated the streamlined experience that game didn’t need a bunch of side activities when you have revenge on your mind lol. And by no means am I comparing GOT to Red Dead and BOTW. You dead right those games are on another tier
