watching parts of the gamersyde and digital foundry video are gonna make the graphic mode a very hard choice. Both of them say the fidelity mode is what they played the most of, even john who always advocates for framerates > resolution.

60 just looks so damn good

All that framerate>resolution shyt is silly because motion clarity is trash at 30FPS anyway. I'll at least be able to enjoy the responsiveness of 60FPS even with shimmering. I'll switch to 4K mode when I wanna take photos and I'm not moving around I guess.

I'm fine with 30fps on console games. The motion blur seems to be fine. I played Miles Morales and Ratchet at 30fps. Only Demon's Souls I played at 60fps and never looked back.

Didn’t know that.

But yeah if the texture quality is the same. I can’t see myself ever utilizing 30fps if that’s the case. I don’t want to play a single 30fps game on this system. I’m glad the performance option trend carried over from PS4 Pro

I can’t ever go back, not since I first got into PC. BOTW was the only one that got away with it, until I figured out CEMU. Now even that’s 4k100+

I just was playing Legacy of Thieves and I switched to the Performance+ (120fps) mode on my new LG. I can't believe I was ok playing at 1080p on this 77" screen ....But the smoothness of it was

I did eventually switch back to 60fps because it started getting too noticeable in certain areas but I'm at the point where my vision is getting worse and 30FPS starts giving me a headache.
