Some of the homeless people on the NYC Subway system are a bit of a headache but most of the time it's a "Steer clear of them" type of situation

This man needed help...and because of his mental state, cried out desperately for it, and the response was to choke the life out of him.

I used to see him on the A train every week. Occasionally I'd see him walking around random parts of Manhattan. Normally he'd do his routine and keep it moving but the last few times I saw him he'd wild out a bit if people weren't responding or giving him money. He was never physically aggressive but he'd say shyt. I thought he was just a street performer and not homeless but I started to think he was dealing with some mental issues because his behavior was getting erratic. He was like 16 years old then so it's a shame he wasn't able to get help. RIP to him.

I'm trying to figure out how he was choked for 15 minutes. If the train was moving they could have just got off. If it wasn't they could have switched cars and avoided him. If they had the option to leave and chose to stay and "restrain" him that's not going to fly legally. Once that autopsy comes back that cac is going to get charged. We'll see how tough he is on Rikers.
