Now im convinced that the killer was setup to do this shyt by some right wing group or the government. This reminds me of kyle rittenhouse all over again. Jordan Neely was more than likely watched or targeted beforehand by whichever group, the penny clown set up shop as was working for them and he killed him knowing he would get away with it. This is not on the DA. At least not on how he charged him. The prosecutors may have fukked up during jury selection, I don't know. But with several fellow riders saying they "felt threatened", 2nd degree murder was likely not going to work. Let's be honest - if you can't get Manslaughter or even Criminally Negligent Homicide, that jury is not convicting on Murder. this was ALL ON THAT JURY. The facts were clear. A VIDEO was shown showing dude still choking him while he's kicking and struggling to breathe even after EVERYONE HAD LEFT except for the other two dudes HOLDING HIM and they STILL let him walk. Sometimes the evidence speaks for itself, It's not always the DA's fault.

This is on the jury. They didn't see this mans life as having value.

He should have been convicted.

But context is also key, by law all the jurors had to reside in Manhattan. You'll be hard-pressed to find a juror that lives in Manhattan and doesn't take the train. During this time, a lot of crazy shyt was happening on the trains. You had the one innocent dude from park slope who got shot in his face while on his way to work. The other dude who shot up the R train. And it seemed like a person was getting pushed into the tracks about once a month.

All this combined with an all white jury, resulted in this verdict. They allowed the outside shyt to override the facts of this case.
