Don't get me wrong..its probably (although doubt it) worth the money in parts...but damn...I am not paying a fukking stack for a laptop/tablet with a small fraction of hard drive space and only 4 hours of battery life on something that was supposed to be "tablet portable" with the blessing of having full laptop esque work...I can't carry this thing around with no worries off to work without plugging it in throughout the day..that's rediculous...folks might as well just buy a regular fukkin laptop smh.

Sent from my Verizon Galaxy S3

:pachaha: no fukking shyt

if half you retards would just buy a laptop this shyt wouldn't be happening

everybody feels like they must have a tablet now :mindblown: :snoop:

899..... u can buy 2 mf full laptops for that price

Sounds like you are the moron to me. I don't give a shyt if I made $100,000 a year, no way would I buy this shyt. Most people who use computers have no clue which devices they should be buying. They see dumb asses like you hyping up the hardware like the average user is going to need all this shyt, and they go and buy it. 2 weeks later they are calling me to fix their shyt because they have no clue why their computer is running slow and "but but but I spent $1000 and now I can't even get on the internet now". Ultrabook, Laptop, Tablet, etc....$1000 should never be spent on these devices unless your career/hobby consists of professional video editing, software or sound engineering, or something like that. How about your dumb ass buys it, and enjoy!!!!! I have an Galaxy S3 for basic daily tasks, Ipad2 that collects dust, an Inspiron 5450 that was given to me because it was "broke", just incase I need a laptop again one day(haven't used it in years), and a gaming desktop that I built for $550 (plays BF3 multiplayer on ultra with no problems)...thats everything you could possibly need....different devices for different situations (home, school, work, or anywhere in general) and still just barely spent $1000 on all of those

So using your definition of a moron, anyone that purchases a Macbook, Macbook Air, A surface pro, a Sony Vaio, or a Samsung tablet is essentially a moron because their products are generally priced a bit higher than the run of the mill no name chinese crap that literally infests the market place right?

Just because your some supposed tech wiz that can create a supposedly awesome gaming machine out of some throwaway computers parts on a shoe string budget doesn't qualify you as the gold standard PC user. Many people in the market place don't mind spending a little extra cash on a premium product. Apple realizes this and is currently killing the marketplace because of it. M$, Nokia, and a host of other manufacturers are following suit, and I think the entire industry will be better for it.

Best Remote Desktop App | Access Computer from iPad | Splashtop

or

Jump Desktop | Remote Desktop (RDP and VNC) for iPad, iPhone, iPod and Android

you can still buy this bullshyt and tell yourself its great though :why:

Are you fukking kidding me? So having a gimped tablet running a remote desktop application is now equivalent to having the power of a desktop in your hands running programs natively?

:why:

Why the fukk do I even bother...:damn:

There's needs to be some serious fallback, and turn this price announcement into a celebration. Here's the competition

Samsung ATIV Smart PC(wack processor in comparison)
Newegg.com - Samsung ATIV SmartPC XE500T1C-A01US 11.6-inch Windows 8 Tablet – 64GB

HAve used this a few times and love it. Wanted to see the Surface Pro first.
Sony VAIO Tablet Laptop | VAIO Duo 11 Ultrabook | SVD11213CXB | Sony USA

Dell XPS 12 Duo and Asus Taichi have already confirmed they will be startign at $1100

If you want a cheaper Windows 8 tablet, there are ATOM models like the Asus Vivo Tab RT and Acer Iconia W700 that are closer to the surface RT in price with full windows 8. But they are nowhere near the power of an i5

What's so special:

- real non-bullshyt processor
- real graphic processor for people doing photoshop, movie editing, etc
- probably has a magnesium shell like the Surface RT, so lighter than other tablets
- Stylus. No spec yet, but if this is Wacom, this is a huge advantage over anything in its range
- Attaches to the surface keyboards. Still haven't seen a good match for that kind of keyboard.
-1080p screen
- Twice the ram of regular tablets
- Full Windows 8 Pro, meaning works for enterprise apps, works for all windows programs, and works with the metro apps, and transferable settings via removeable media. Not to mention Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 work great together.

Basically you're getting a high end ultra book, with a real processor. They could easily have thrown in the keyboard and made this thing $1100. Seriously, the convertibles and ultrabooks of this quality are in the same price range and up. Sony VAIO Duo 11(my favorite so far), Asus Taichi, Dell Duo 11. And look

We get it. You hate M$ and everything they stand for.

Unfortunately neither I nor do other M$ fans give a fukk.....:jawalrus:

*posted from my Surface RT*

Looks like youre wrong yet again breh. I actually think Windows 8 is a good look. But youre either stupid or getting paid by M$ to ride for this shyt. Be real here...they dropped the ball with this price point. shyt cost more than a regular laptop, and does less.

And you cared enough to be in this thread with your keyboard ablazing replying to everyone.

What is a premium product? All of these Manufacturers are brain washing the fukk out of people with nothing but great advertising. There are very little difference between phone and computer releases, but if it's a the best new thing and has a following, it's going to sell, so fukk what you think is "premium". I can afford a Macbook, but it's just my opinion that it's not worth it. Why would I pay that much for a computer when I can have one for half the price and still have the same benefits :yeshrug: . Honestly, I can't even tell you why I spent money to upgrade from my EVO to the S3 because the differences don't benefit the $150 I paid plus the new 2 year contract I signed at $80 a month. These companies got us all mentally fukked up

I honestly don't mind the price because that's what I was expecting. The thing that kills me is the battery life. If it got 6 hours, I would be fine with it. So we'll see. Hopefully these rumors of 4 hours is false. The only thing we can do as consumers is wait until its reviewed by reputable sites. Im not giving up on this just yet.
