What does this bullshyt even mean? She look too African for your confused ass?Why does Lupita still act like she's in Nairobiwood films?
Kind of ruined it for me. Needs more polish.

Too african? Nikka look at my avi.
Have you seen nollywood films? Many of the actors are overtly dramatic. Lupita's acting comes off as very forced. She was like this in 12 years a slave as well.
I had this same criticism of MBJ in Black Panther. Needs more polish.
Nothing I said had anything to do with her looks.
I spoke in general.the Dominican baseball players are usually imported from the DR. Are you saying that this is the exact same case here?
I’m asking before I look up the actual background of these celebrities.
That was my issue with 12 Years A Slave. Both her and the main dude.
They were both cringe worthy. I still don't know how she won.
So many caught feelings on this but it's the truth
I would like to see more stories about native countries
Not which black immigrant can play the best AAdos
Then whine about being seen as less than (That war is over)
@LordCashmere
@MutaBaruka
What war?
Zen,
You really Should take the issue up with Jordan Peele
Before his next movie features kymani Marley and John Boyega which is certain to turn your blood pressure up.
Africanette and Caribreh just outchea doing what they're paid to do
I agree with you on this point though and I really would want people of certain backgrounds would play roles of their upbringing for authenticity but wont let that turn me away if the film is good
