The only way I would be cool with letting Murray go is if we get AP. I don't see Murray as the team friendly contact type of guy, and I don't blame him...this is a bidness at the end of the day.

Get a pass rusher and a run stopping DT to help that Dline and hope Lawrence will build on those playoff games.

Last time we had a safety that ppl actually respected and trusted was Woodson. Fix that please:damn:

I don't think we will have a chance to get AP.

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
Why not. He will get released and wants to play here. If im Jerry and it came down to giving AP or Murray a 4yr deal, im taking AP.

No way he gets cut. They'll try to get value for him. I'm not sure what kind of trade clauses he has in his contract, but they're going to get some picks for him at the very least.

No one will want to pay that 12.5 mill that AP is due so trading ain't happening. And the Vikings wont want him on the team after all the negative hoopla his situation caused. Even heard it gave them some issues with getting the stadium or something.

AP will be cheaper than 12. Prolly in the 6-7 range. He's 30. I'd take him over Murray only if Murray asks for too much.

Very slim chance we get a crack at Peterson. Vikings won't release him. Mike Zimmer has repeatedly said he would welcome AP back, and his cap figure makes him extremely hard to move.

He's too great of a talent for them to just cut. Bridgewater showed really good things last year. Peterson will be playing behind him, and they will build around that core for the next 3-4 years.

I don't think management really gives a shyt about it's "image." Minnesota has been rumored to be one of the moving teams, along with the Chargers. Everyone in Minnesota who supports the team owns 28 jerseys.

If they cut him, I'd be shocked. This isn't like Peyton in 2012. They don't have a generational talent with youth walking in that doorway to be kicking out a generational talent.

I've made jokes throughout the season to a couple of my friends that you could see Murray and Lynch playing for opposite teams next year.

With each passing day it becomes more and more apparent that Murray will wear another helmet next year, and if for some reason Seattle doesn't win it all this year...

:patrice: Lynch $15-17mil/3yr
