i was trying to think of a witty sarcastic remark to make about how God, for some arbitrary reason decides some people are born into disease and starvation while others are born into wealth and prosperity. It really doesn't make any sense how you could justify worshiping an entity who is such a biased jerk. I know someone is gonna come in here and say 'well the lord works in mysterious ways' but nahhh i cant roll with that logic here.

Religious folks, be honest, you dont really think about the logic or reasoning of your religion for any significant amount of time do you? too you religion is just something for you to do on a sunday morning.
This so silly...

If life is a test and God is just an observer what would be the point of there not being any strife and struggle? If everyone is on an even footing and all things are right in the world then what incentive would there be to even go through the test? We create most of the conditions on this planet. All that turmoil, that's us.

How could I justify worshiping an entity that doesn't make shyt fair? It's simple,If you come from the view of believing all we have is this one life then I can understand why you feel it's silly... but people who believe in a higher power do not. So to me it's just some crybaby shyt.

You believe that we have all the power to make things right whereas people who believe in God believe that this is just a temporary destination. Whatever you do to make it right, things will eventually go wrong again somewhere and somehow, It's in our nature.

so in your opinion it doesnt matter that some people are born into awful poverty and die of an illness because they dont have access to medicine that is readily available in other places?? because after they die their spirit will go into a good place? in your opinion? oh ok good luck with your theories and beliefs that can never be proven or disproven by humans, forget about how the only way to measure how good of a person someone is on earth is to gauge how they treat others. calling a situation in which other humans are born into a life of poverty and starvation "some crybaby shyt" really says a lot about you and your personality.

Honestly, this is on the short list of "dumbest thing ever posted here". There a million other things we could choose to do on a weekend day, to choose to use that time trying to deepen our understanding/appreciation for what is our reason for life is not the same as filling our schedule up.

respond to a debate in a way that only attempts to halt discussion brehs

This isn't a debate, it's an abortion.

Your reputation precedes you; you don't have anything worthwhile to discuss here, and you don't care.

why not respond to my original post in where i question an all powerful entity who chooses to bless some people while treating others like garbage. how do you justify that your God chooses some people to have a horrible life and then die? the last guy said that its God's test and that it is really just "crybaby shyt."

The fact is that you don't know what my God chooses. That why I didn't respond to that.

I am not the last guy, and I don't agree with him...but you didn't know that, you think we're all the same. That's why these threads are fruitless.

Way to miss the point again.

But anyway - what goes on in Third World countries today is because of man, not God.

You forgot the comfort with death, despair and complacency, feel good, and "ahhhhh I'm too busy/dumb to try to understand the universe on my own" parts. :skip:

If we accept then that God doesn’t have a belief in a being higher than himself, we must conclude that God is without belief in a supreme being and is therefore an atheist.

Yes think .. in reference to me not knowing "how life works at the chemistry level"
and me not knowing about evolution .. maybe you don't know about Louis Pasteur breh.

Sorry I'm not making shyt up any more than you are since you can't disprove any of what I'm saying. I made up the fact that are an approximate 17-50 million habitable planets in our galaxy alone? I think not.

having a sample size of N=1 doesn't make you that more unique.

You live on a planet with a core thats basically molten rock and minerals swirling around and you inhabit this 5 mile thick crust in an otherwise uninhabitable zone...and you think you're special :pachaha:
