London baby.
This isn't nearly as uncommon as you think it is. Quite a few women will give birth or adopt a child and raise the child on their own willingly.

I worked in an IVF clinic years ago.

Most of the women making £100k+ were either lesbians or using sperm donors.

The biological shaming I witnessed in that industry makes The Coli look pro-single motherhood.

Even the doctors and psychologists were in on it.

No guarantee the dad would stick around or be a good father anyway.

True, but by choosing not to have a father in the picture there is a garuntee that there will be no father, good bad or otherwise.

Maybe im too oldschool, but I would never want to raise a child without a mother (if I can help it). I still believe both parents in a loving marriage is optimal

i have a hard time feeling for a kid with a parent that makes 15 mil a year. lives in manhattan, will go to a private school and have hella networks via his mom once he hits adulthood compared to a black child growing up in a single parent household in south central, living off govt cheese and EBT, sleeping on the floor or on a bunk bed with 3 other siblings.

that lil nikka is fine.

I think being a “single mother” is different for rich people, they aren’t really single mothers and they have the ultimate support system.

bingo

it’s not like she’s in the hood making $14 dollars and hour and has to worry about paying child care, clothes, food and rent

So if Lucy Liu decided to have a child with a man, then suddenly they live in south central, sleep on the floor, have 3 siblings, and use EBT??

I mean i get your point but you're not really comparing like to like situations.

A better comparison would be to use the same example u did (either one, rich or poor) and then add a father and tell me if thats better or worse.

I never said Lucy Liu son will be worse off than a poor persons son, i said i believe a 2 parent household in a loving marriage is optimal. Rich people can come from 2 parent households too.... most do actually :yeshrug:

damn that kid is the ultimate act of self-hatred and fukk you to asian men including her father of course. all the excuses about how you can't control who you fall in love with blah blah go out the door when you straight up choose what you think are the best traits for your offspring and the main one being having a white donor. damn.

The amount of people in this thread that are basically saying that the man has no value in the family structure, or that there is no value in the family structure in general. I'd like to say that I'm shocked, but I'm not.

Yeah, reading threads like this just reminds me how differently I think/move from most people on this site.

Just toss some money at it, dads aint needed :francis:
