You are trying too hard.
That’s like pretending that the past means nothing to people’s future. The article says even in modern day these things are still in play, the model minority is still very much a thing.
You don’t get into the game here without total isolation (which they tried and failed with Chinatowns for awhile and every group has tried for the most part) or acceptance from the majority group who is damn near 80% of the population. When Jews were here they had to change their Jewish names, but could pass for white, and were able to work their way into positions of power that they were welcomed to do because they didn’t face a large enough collective racist push from other white people.
All those groups that you are saying are successful because of their home nation doesn’t consider fact that black Caribbeans and west Africans don’t get the luxury of claiming not to be black, nationality matters very little to these people because they are not liked in the Caribbeans or west African countries anyway. the majority culture is very racially protectionist. It is black and white, all these other ethnic off shoots are just pawns for keep the black vs white hierarchy going and validating its existence.

White people have been trying to create a racial hierarchy globally for a long time. For it to effectively work, black people need to socioeconomically be at the bottom of it.
This is their legacy, these white people are fighting hard for something that we are taking lightly and dismissing as ridiculous and militant nonsense.
The fact you can even ask yourself why blacks are the most hated by other groups is proof that what others are dismissing as militant nonsense is actually true. The article posits that the Asian American success in this nation comes from 1)less discrimination in the post WWII / Civil Rights Era, 2) lessen proliferation of anti Asian rhetoric in the media, and 3)influx of high skilled high educated Asian immigration.
