As far as the charge that 'no one wrote anything down', that's a red herring. Fully 95% of the population at that time was illiterate and Jesus was just a minor blip on the radar. A person of no consequence. No reason to write down anything about him.....yet Roman Historians DID.

If Jesus was just a myth and the Jewish leaders hated him, the Romans hated Christians, and there were certainly others against Christianity, why is there a lack of documents specifically during the first century that refutes a historical Jesus? Not one document ever calls his existence into question.......for 1800 years. No organization on Earth has kept a secret that long and, as all 'rational' people know, religious people aren't 'bright'.

There should be TONS of documentation thoroughly exposing Jesus as a fraud, no?

Roman historians that documented Jesus also documented Hercules... Josephus' doc is a known fraud. And Tacitus was AFTER the time period.... Cant prove a negative, come on you should be better than that. I also cant prove leprechauns and unicorns dont exist either.:heh:

Hiding behind the 'Can't prove a negative' can't save you since in this case, you should be able to prove he was a fraud or 'made up'.

There should be PLENTY of documentation to back up your claim.

Why would they need to refute something that did not exist? These books were written at the earliest nearly 50 years after the fact. Were they supposed to preemptively write refutations?:patrice:

Are there refutations to Aesop's Fables? How about refutations of Hercules?

You really cant be this intellectually lazy. Its a fact that you cant prove a negative, nothing to hide behind. You have a claim that you have no evidence for. The lack of evidence is all that I need in order to conclude Jesus is a farce... that is unless you have actual evidence, go ahead and post it. Not videos of people claiming that since Rome is real, so is Jesus :skip:
