OP you're just as guilty if you're not doing anything about it.

don't you produce and still reside in NY.

Assuming from the way you post you're over 40.

you have the wisdom and resources to be a part of the solution.

Nah, all you fossils need to die. Old heads ruined this planet and left us to fix shyt and fend for ourselves, then we stuck you in retirement homes and now you bitter and waving your fists at the passing cars through the screen door. Sit down on that bench and feed the birds old man :pachaha:

Its like deadbeat dad's talking that shyt about how all these youngins do know about this n that.....

or these young boys out here different they aint like us today....

We went from a rapper potentially dying from getting shot 9 times.

To a Jewish Canadian actor using AI to diss another rapper......

How times have changed.
We got the biggest rapper in the game making ai diss tracks.. rap is dead
Wait, what I miss…the Drake diss that he put on all platforms is AI, or y’all just making a point about AI ruining the game?

Can’t lie, the AI Kendrick leak made me lose interest in this battle cuz it’s a guessing game now until rappers confirm it themselves

This beef has shown me that there's no going back, shyt is changed forever. The way podcasters are being used as paid spokesman, the way (white and Indian owned) gossip rags dominate how rap news is consumed, the way music journalists have been pushed out, etc. Not just hip hop BTW. Look at what's going on with the new Taylor Swift album, where some publications are reviewing it without listing the article author for fear of death threats. Look at the way Rolling Stone hired a literal stan to review the album. This wasn't even happening when pop acts were selling millions of records in a week back in the 90s.

We prob aren't far from a legendary music artist's estate agreeing to let a label release new, fake music with the help of AI. It's been used to "restore" a Beatles song already, how long before we get 100% fully AI shyt from Tina Turner or the other artists whose catalogs have been sold?

Nothing last forever. I don't think people not calling these wack is the problem. The younger generation has different tastes and influences than us so the music is going to be different. Some old niqqa calling what they like wack isn't gonna make them change their mind. It's actually going to draw them to it. Part of youth culture is doing shyt to piss off the previous generations. It's just the natural order of things. Everything that starts off pure in capitalist society and gains an audience is going to be co opted by corporations and watered down for maximum sale. It happens to everything not just Hip Hop.
