alot of the time it is the biggest of stars on unsung.
its about lost legacies. the thing is, darn near all black legends become disregarded over time unless theres some campaigning going on for them via the industry.
shoot, bone thugs is this season's rap episode. they sold more rap records than any group ever, and were bigger than 2pac & biggie at one point. theyre the personification of this show actually.
as far as tevin campbell goes, of course he was a mainstream star. and him dissappearing quickly like he did, is not a knock. it was so easy to fall off with the quickness back then. its not like now where you can fall off & drop trash for 10 years and still remain relevant.
I think his rise and fall are compelling though. Would like to hear that from the insiders and how felt about it. Dude was THE prodigy of the 90s and just fell off while he was putting out good material.
