I don't know a lot of celebrities nor am I interested in knowing them but I know Bowlegged Lou and I tell you this he is a really solid dude. I know him through one of my wife's best friends who he used to date and I don't know him that well but he called me when my Father died to offer his condolences and when my 2 children were born to congratulate me, and when he called me about my 2nd child being born him and the girl had been broken up for a long time so for him to do that was some real genuine shyt. I will always have the utmost respect for that man.

thats real spit right there. they always gave off that real peoples vibe.

fun-fact for those that dont know: nikki minaj got her start in bowlegged lou's son's rap group.
and apparently they were all in the studio when full force was working with lil kim. this is where kim claims that nikki ran with her chit.

i actually miss the 2-3 album run days. when an artist(s) starts running out of steam and they get passed up by younger/hungrier talent. that keeps the music fresh & alot of the best products at the forefront. the complete opposite of whats going on now.

yep.

first 2 that come to mind are jay & nas. i forget how much i liked them back in the day. jay is so wack now. and nas is good half the time but even his good stuff these days is like eating dried fruit. but dont let me mess around and throw on an old vhs tape.
