Floyd can't have it both ways. He can't throw shade at Ali, SRL, and SRR and avoid the criticism. Since he wants to be TBE, he needs to face criticism for not fighting Manny, his "retirement", not fighting all the best around his weight, etc. And you can't build a case for GOAT status when half of it consists of "would have". And he can't do anything about it at this point, because the talent isn't where it was then. But his fans will just accepts whatever narrative he pushes. Boxing historians, writers, and real fans see through it, so it's no big deal. History will remember Floyd with ATG skill but not an ATG resume.
