They listened to internet chatter without realizing it's just a vocal minority not some huge outcry by the public at large.
Dont try to explain anything to him. He one of them Snyder cult nikkas
It's obvious he just googled articles to support his claim and didnt read them. Damn near all the links he posted is just messing with stats to make Snydercut look good. One article even brings up the "only 36% finished the movie" part.
In Justice League‘s first week (March 18-24), 2.2 million U.S. households watched at least five minutes, per Samba TV’s numbers......only 36% of U.S. households (792,000) actually finished the four-hour film.
Over half the ppl peaced out on watching the film. How is that successful?
That Vulture article came out the same day as Snyder Cut(March 18th). So how do the deem the film a success? The three points they make are:
1. This got WB some positive PR by releasing it
2. The arrival of Justice League serves as a gigantic (Bat)signal to audiences: HBO Max is serious about all things DC
3. It pairs perfectly with the WarnerMedia strategy of shattering the exclusive theatrical window.
So no numbers and the last 2 points amount to nothing now since it's not doing the same day streaming thing.
Another one of those links uses social media impressions to say the film was a huge success.Which is also skewed since Snyder and/or his cult used bots to make it seem like ppl care about the Snyder cut.
A WarnerMedia report reveals that inauthentic users bolstered the fan-led campaign for director Zack Snyder’s 'Justice League' do-over.

Third-party streaming analytics company
Samba TV has weighed in on the weekend viewership of
Warner Bros’
The Suicide Squad on
HBO Max, saying that
2.8 million U.S. households tuned in over the film’s Friday-Sunday frame. That number among movies on HBO Max marks the highest weekend ever for a
DC property,
well ahead of Justice League: The Snyder Cut (1.8M households over four days) and the Christmas weekend of
Wonder Woman 1984 (2.2M).
Suicide Squad allegedly outperforms the Snyder Cut

One streaming movie led to a director getting full reigns of the DC property.........and another completely losing his and the company getting rid of every trace he had left in the DC Universe.
