They put out so many films to keep the rights from reverting back to Barker. That's literally the only reason they made all of them since 4.

First 2 are classic and that's the last 2 Barker was involved with.

And even then, with the second film, Barker doesn't have that much input other than creating the story. He had conflicts with his schedule.
Still an enjoyable film and one of the best sequels for a horror film.
The third is whatever but you can see the Barker touch is gone.

After that, it's just pure shyt.

I'm so excited for this reboot.

This looks like it will be closer to the Candyman requel than the Texas Chainsaw requel which is a good thing.

Its nice to see all the old horror icons making a comeback. Michael Myers and Chucky have been winning so far. You're on the clock Jason Vorhees and Freddy Kruger:ufdup:
