You said
"The preview trailer didn't claim he did see GOD.
So at this point, my points are still valid."

The kid DID in fact claim to see God.

Maybe you should have read the book before defending it fam. This has been fun though.

:pachaha:
Bruh, could you attempt to carry a convo like a man instead of an emotional teenage girl?
You could have said that much 20post ago. Ok, so what did he describe

Why you so upset fam? I literally just posted a handful of book based observations and you didn't realize it because you don't even know the source material you're defending :snoop:.

What did you think my post you quoted were just things I was throwing out jokingly? Nah fam, I'm paraphrasing the kid...
God looks like Gabriel but he's enormous.
Jesus is white.
Heaven has all the colors of the rainbow and the boy walked around in it.

Those ideas are straight from the kid. I wasn't exaggerating to mock it or anything like that. Now can we be done with this "That boy's account is authentic even though I don't know what his account was" garbage you're slinging?

Oh, so I said it is authentic :beli:
You are the one playing GOD right now, saying what is, what isnt.
When I asked you how you know, you say. Well, there are better stories.
Lets get it clear what the "disagreement" was between you and I. Your comments, you did put them out there like they are jokes
Cuz you don't believe them.
I don't know what the kid seen. The issue is you claiming this STORY is only for monetary gains
Exploitation n shyt. Is it, or is it a story that a kid, a family, maybe a town believes?
Why is this a story that shouldn't be told. I've asked you that all along, and you continue to deflect.
Yes, you read the book. You've stated that how many times now? So you should be able to answer the question. Are you?

When I asked you how you know, you say. Well, there are better stories.

I said, there are countless stories of near death experiences where the people claimed to go to heaven. The only thing that sets this one apart is a best selling book. What makes this story from a 12 year old more worthy of retelling than stories from patients whose hearts actually stopped before they were brought back?

Lets get it clear what the "disagreement" was between you and I. Your comments, you did put them out there like they are jokes
Cuz you don't believe them.

No, I literally posted the child's description. No smileys, no side comments and no "lol's." Maybe you saw them like jokes because of how ridiculous they sounded at time? Idk...but the post is a straight post, as straight forward as can be.

I don't know what the kid seen. The issue is you claiming this STORY is only for monetary gains

Like I said from jump...it doesn't matter who believes it. I see exploitation because Hollywood has invested in a number of films about Christian stories and they're looking to cash in on the Christian fanbase (Son of God and Noah being the first couple out)...this one in particular stands out because one of the big selling points is "based on a true story" just like they throw on horror movies. That's why it's funny. Like I said from jump, if a 12 year old wakes up and tells you he saw Santa, you chuckle. If a 12 year old wakes up and tells you he saw God, it's a miracle.

Why is this a story that shouldn't be told. I've asked you that all along, and you continue to deflect.

I never said it shouldn't be told. I said the movie studio is only interested in it because they have a niche market to take advantage of. They have every right to put out whatever they want and I reserve my right to laugh at the people who believe that this is being made for reasons outside of cash flow.

Yes, you read the book. You've stated that how many times now? So you should be able to answer the question. Are you?

Since I never said this is a story that shouldn't be told, I don't feel a need to answer that. I've already explained why I think it's exploitative and I now have a great interaction with one of the target audience so I can even say I think the producers are brilliant. People with no clue what it says in the book are defending that ish hard!? They had the right idea.

:usure: You sure bout that?

There is no such thing as dreamless sleep breh. You just don't remember...even the smallest of thoughts pass thru your subconscious while you sleep. You are in no way in control of your subconscious which controls your thoughts and dreams while sleeping which you have every single time you sleep or nap. This is like saying you can walk through the entire day without having a single thought. Not humanly possible.

I'm aware the brain is always active, throwing shyt around even while you're sleeping. When I said dreamless, of course I meant the ones you don't remember. :comeon: You ever go to sleep and woke up without remembering a dream? It's the closest thing to oblivion, I'm saying that's what I think what death is like.

Ahh yea of course...I'm just saying there is no such thing as "dreamless." Its just we don't remember. And I agree that death could be like also.

This is a way more interesting topic than the movie tbh. Do you think that's a permanent state or are you on the reincarnation or "awakening" tip?

I think it's permanent. That may be a bit too bleak for a lot of people though but I prefer that to the Christian afterlife of either living eternally "happy" or burning in everlasting fire.

@Fury616 was right about the body dispersing energy when you die. Maybe all that is recycled to make another person, making reincarnation plausible. I'd prefer that too.

Afterlife, reincarnation...no reason to believe its not possible. Your birth and spirit were possible so why not believe the opposite? :ehh:

There have been many cases of past life regression which those that believe in reincarnation use to state their case. One of the most famous was a little boy that had past life memories of being killed as a WWII pilot. He had details of the plane, his life and everything...extreme minor details that nobody but the pilot's family knew. shyt is crazy.

Bruh, you can put a condescending spin on it if you like. Your act has been exposed, so thats all you got left :umad:
You did quote the kid... 15 post in :stopitslime:
I'm not even gonna ask you again. You tried to touch on it, but you still dodged the real question.
What is YOUR issue with it. None you say? Just that you KNOW its for exploitation purposes
Why choose a best seller book? Why is the book a best seller is a better question
Is it a good read? You read it, you felt the need to read it. But yet here you are trying to throw shade on christians? You know, the people the movie is designed for followed by :heh:
Why would YOU read a book like that? Did you read it, then YOU felt exploited
And now you made they taking there show to the big screen?

Too man things don't add up with you. I don't expect you to say "you got me" I expect you to deflect and sidestep :tu:

the only account of someone dying then coming back that seemed legit to me was the one about dude dying going to heaven but going back for his family, Then when he came back to life after a few weeks he went crazy because paradise was so beautiful that everything on earth seemed ugly to him, he wound up commiting suicide just to try to go back
