What's funny? I have read many near-death experiences, and have had one told to me by one of my patients. An afterlife is real. Whether it's heaven or not is irrelevant. We will not cease to exist after corporal life ends.

Not to debate whether there is an afterlife or now, but strictly looking at this from the point of view that they made a movie that is blatantly exploiting Christian beliefs to sell...it's funny to me. If that boy woke up and told a story about going to the North Pole, no one would be like "We need to write this down and sell this story. Santa is for real!" because that would be ridiculous. But since they have a mass group to market to, they make one small boy's experience into something bigger for the sake of a dollar. This reads as pure exploitation to me.

Wow, you seem to know a lot. You dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's before you even seen the movie
Tell me bruh, how you seen it?
Do you even know what you are trying to trash?
I get your angle, but you do know there are holes in your angle bruh.
Holes cuz you haven't begun to do any research to come to the conclusions you did
Do that, then cry foul. Maybe its a story, from a kid. THAT IS REAL :leon:
All I'm sayin, what is it that is so amazing that happened. I need details on what the story is, and how it was shared before I can jump to conclusions :manny:

I followed it when the book was blowing up, so miss me with that "you're hating without knowing the source material" fam. It's exploitation on some blatantly impossible to prove ish. It's pretty much a father saying "My son said this...and this...and this" and it gets crazy. The kid saw Revelations and God is gigantic and a day is like an eternity...and the kid's story gets crazier as he "remembers" more.

There's nothing in it that can actually be proven. It's the Amityville Horror of Christian exploitation.

LOL @ An After Life, The fukk You Gonna Do There? Work,? Shop? Watch Tv? Wander Around Aimlessly? Theres Literally No Point In Living If You Die And Go To A "Better Place"

Sounds creepy too. Living "happy" and rejoicing for all eternity in some cosmological place? No matter how you slice it, it sounds the after life has only a fraction of what you were when you were alive. Some real kool aid shyt, man. Being happy is great and all but what about all the other shyt that made you, you?

And don't even get me started on the concept of being tortured and burned alive forever. :mjlol:

Ceasing to exist after death seems much more comforting if you ask me. Not sure why people are so afraid of that when they experience it every time they have dreamless sleep. :yeshrug:

Ok :whoa:
Now, its explotation because it can't be explained to you?

I just never understood the logic of non believers. I don't understand why YOU feel that the mysteries should be explained to you
You don't even realize that you wouldn't be able to understand it if it was explained to you
The way a revelation works, you get insight.. an enlightenment that is instant
You can't explain how you acquired the info, its sort of just beamed into your brain
Its like downloading a huge file in 1 second. Then how do you explain that to somebody when you can't fully explain it yourself

Nobody is explaining to you how UFO's work either but...

^^^ Even the video title is a lie ^^^
You can look up any astronaut and UFO and they all talk about how they exist
My point is more is going on in the universe than you are aware of bruh...

I said from jump I'm not debating whether there's an after life or not breh, get worked up over nothing with someone who cares to argue that ish.

It's exploitation because there are 1000's of stories of after life experiences but they zeroed in on a 12 year old whose heart never even stopped. There are far more convincing after life/past life/there's more to this than just living stories out there but they didn't get movie treatment because they didn't have a built in audience of millions. I don't need an explanation about the afterlife, I want to know why we've decided to take a 12 year old's word for it (second hand btw because it's his dad retelling what the boy said and even the father mentions that he can't remember everything in detail so he gives vague descriptions at points) over all of the other people who have had near death experiences? If you can explain why this kid's story warrants the "this one is right and all the rest aren't worth making a movie out of" then we can have a discussion, otherwise gtfoh getting your beliefs confirmed by a 12 year old.

Bruh, lets be honest with ourselves here. You kinda psychotically jelly right now :umad:
Don't get worked up over that above line. Its just, why you so upset over who they chose?
Is it a bad choice in your opinion? And you don't like it cuz of the age of the boy?
The argument you have can be applied to any scenario regarding this topic, why choose this one over that one?
The first problem is your lack of knowledge on GOD in general. You questioning why GOD chose to use a person :laff:(God didn't realize there was an age limit)
Bruh, peep the message. You on some conspiracy theory with invisible puzzles = Exploitation and treachery :rudy:

If you think there are more "convincing" stories, then go direct that movie bruh.
You looking for a reason to hate on a "feel good" movie... before it even came out... really bruh :heh:
The devil is a lie...

No fam, you're trying way too hard to make me sound mad and my point is going way over your head.

The first problem is I'm not asking why GOD chose to use a person. I'm asking why the STUDIO chose to use that person. I don't know whether or not God chose that person and it has nothing to do with what I'm saying. I am talking strictly from a "what motivated them to capitalize on this story for monetary gain" point of view here. I'm not calling religion exploitative, you can have your beliefs fam...but a studio is clearly capitalizing on the more naive portion of Christians. You really think this was made for "feel good" reasons fam? I don't got time for people that gullible.

Really excited to see this. Posted it on my forum and waited for someone to troll just so I could ban em. I'm gung-ho for Jesus.

The real Colton

and...

Akiane: child prodigy, artist, poet. Purchase Paintings and Prints direct from Akiane

"Akiane Kramarik seems to be a child visionary. Growing up in a home with an Atheist mother and a lapsed Catholic father, she apparently began having “divinely inspired visions,” which she translated into poetry and art. By age four (Colton’s age) she was painting and writing poetry. There can be no denying, at least, that she is a prodigy. She appeared on CNN, World News Tonight and theOprah Winfrey Show. Forget that she is a child; her work is amazing.

She was just eight-years-old when she painted Prince of Peace, her first portrait of Jesus. This is the painting Colton said was right. It is reproduced in the back of every copy of this best seller. (Click on “Read more,” below for a larger image)"
