Gavin's such a fakkit for trying to steal his company :smh:

It's your intellectual property because he logged on to his site from your computer for 20 minutes. FOH. That law sucks.

:manny:

Scope of employment. Richard is a programmer that used company resources to work on the type of shyt he is employed to work on.

shyt would be considered work for hire.

Richard should've known better. That's the reason guys like him stay in spots like Elrich's, they have the resources to work on their shyt on their own time.

The question is if that one test would be substantial enough.

If you're Gavin, you hired dude to program, he used my shyt to help him develop something, something he didn't even know about until my other employees brought it to his attention

I get the law, and why it's needed.

Otherwise you'd have people working for companies, learning their systems, using their resources to their benefit then quitting to compete against them. But Gavin is just a devious dude. He knows he didn't have shyt to do with it and tries to steal it on a technicality. Fukk him. He'd never be in deep shyt if he didn't try to compete with Pied Piper to begin with, because Hooli wasn't even thinking about compression algorithms.

You're not a billionaire without doing some devious shyt.

And if Hooli doesn't inform Richard of what he actually had, not just some bullshyt music copyright finder program, Richard would be working on some other goofy idea.

Richard pitched to Hooli, they made an offer, he refused, so Hooli tried to make their own version, which they actually matched until Richard made those changes in last year's finale.

Catched up this week before the season finale. This has been funnier than last year but I do agree it's getting frustrating to see the retarded ways the guys pile up Ls.

Gilfoyle the gawd :wow:

fukk Richard :pacspit:

The way the lawyer fukking destroyed Elrich in that last episode :russ:

Bighead the retarded genius :dead:

Somebody said the show was turning in to entourage where they found a way tk win in the end of everything

They are suppoaed to win...but this isnt like wntourage where u know no matter what vince will get to so the movie and e aomehow gets paid

Richard not lying kept it honest and real AND adds to the stake...and that condor egg stream going from 0 to 100 real quick because he made that phone call makes this finale very interesting

I cant wait fkr the finale...my top 3 comedy on tv right chere

Breh, this misspelling thing has to be a gimmick at this point, right? :dahell:

Was I in possession of cocaine, amphetamines, amyl nitrate (also known as poppers) at the time of my arrest? In large quantities. Did I have consensual intercourse with two women under the age of 18? Repeatedly. I admit this. Did I violate the Mann Act and transport them across state lines for sexual purposes? Alleged but not proven. And boy they tried. They tried :hmm:

:laff: :laff:

I was dying during that scene.

I get why they do this, they don't want to advance the plot too fast since the endgame of getting funded, acquired, or pivoting to a different product then turns the show into a day-to-day office show. So, they can't run through SV situations like arbitration or funding rounds anymore.

I just wish they did it more gradually. It felt smoother in season one, while in season two it's formulaic that every episode has one win and one loss.

Lose Peter Gregory, become hot startup in VC funding round
Nail pitch meetings and start bidding war, lose bids because of pending litigation
Get a 2nd round of meetings, divulge algorithm openly
Get a non-traditional 3 commas investor, investor turns into a douchebag (this one was ok since the plot device lasted longer than one episode)
Get the energy drink marketing opportunity, lose it to EndFrame
Get back at EndFrame with the porn data run-off, lose it by the delete key
Get a preview build of Nucleus that sucks, get blown up in arbitration

I don't mind it right now since we've finally gotten to the season finale and there are some really good characters on the show, but I really hope they ditch this formula for season 3.
