I thought this was a solid show.... It's whole point was to show that the justice system s a flawed system ran by flawed people. The lazy police work/ the investigating, the politics in front and behind the scenes, the prison system creating criminals, etc. Even the naive innocent young defense lawyer was corrupted by the system by end of the show.

The writers gave you a faux happy ending on purpose It's like they are poking fun at all those shows and movies that revolve around law procedurals.

How is the ending trash?

Nikka watching way too many episodes of Law and Order SVU, thinking that is some quality tv.

This whole series was to show us the viewers how fukked up the American Criminal system.

The cops and the lawyers were not about "justice for all", they were just about catching "someone" and putting him in jail for it.


Of course fakkits here are like "I knew the financial adviser did it". Yeah after you named every single male character on the show.

Why chase other leads when you've arrested the guy who was spotted fleeing the scene by an eye witness, established as the last known person with the victim by another witness and was arrested with a knife in his pocket covered in the victim's blood? Box didn't go looking elsewhere cause he had the killer as far as the court is concerned.

I'd buy the #Box Set if it had an alternate ending with Naz slitting his wrists at the end there when he had those flashbacks of Andrea and him. Fuk him.

neither of them have done murder cases. 1 dose petty vice crimes and the other never been first chair or even in a court room

lol, i knew it was him only cause i understood how the show was edited n shyt...i should say it could be him

shows like this only show certain shyt for a specific reason

i assumed it was him at the funeral
then when he went out of his way to shift blame of the step dad

Y'all trippin, the finale delivered imo. from Droopy interrogating Naz to Turturro's closing statement to Naz complete transformation into an apathetic drug addict. Oh and the casino scene with Box was beastly as well. The intensity from scene to scene was gripping.

Not to mention, on an aesthetic level this might be the best episide yet. The dead silence of the court room mixed with the long takes, etc. The cinematography/editing on Turturro's closing statement was a thing of beauty.

Not sure what people were expecting or maybe the expectations were unrealistic? To me this whole show was a masterpiece, flaws and all.

The shyt was fukking filed at 8:00AM, that means he printed the shyt out at home that weekend, filled everything out, if there was a fee, went to the bank and got a cashier's check, was outside the building before 8, and the shyt was in such order that he was able to get it reviewed and stamped within a minute

I ain't like the end of the show either. Started off crazy and like someone else said, it started with so much fukkery so I expected it to continue with fukkery at the end. Still good show. But can't they flip season 2 to make it look like nas still did it and he get another trial maybe after he chokes out this lawyer bytch in season two for not fukking with him for still being a crack head and having it showing he has this track record for this kind of behavior?

They say got evidence of this other cat that looks suspect but nas looks suspect, the dude at the gas station was suspect, and bodi's lost friend was suspect. So season 2 can add some greatness as well and fill in the fukkery we expected.
