I remember the entire theater clapping at the end of 'Dark Knight', and no one gave a fukk about how it looked. It was nice moment of shared acknowledgement that we had just witnessed something special.

u prolly clap at home at the end of Seinfeld reruns:scust:

How about when people clap during the movie. When I was young I went to see the fugitive, , the scene where Harrison Ford is running from TLJ , I swear practically the whole theater started cheering when he says TLJ has a gun and the cops stop him. :mjlol:

Not the middle, but I remember when the a$$hole white boy in Samuel L Jackson's shaft got merked everybody started clapping tho the movie wasn't quite over yet :mjlol:

I went to a screening of 'Top Five' before it got sold to Paramount and it got a standing ovation

Avengers on opening day.

I went to a screening of 'Purple Rain' last year which essentially turned into a sing along and people applauded that too.

In the awkward pause before he starts playing the theme tune someone screams "GO ON! YOU CAN DO IT!" :skip:

I guess I go to some standing ass cinemas :yeshrug:
Screenings don't really count imo. I went to a "Top Five" screening as well and it got huge applause afterward. Its a good movie no doubt but Chris Rock was actually in the building too so cats gave it up to him:yeshrug:

Everyone was cheering at the end of Free Willy when I saw it in theatres. Then when the Michael Jackson song started playing everyone stayed till the end of the credits dancing at the front of screen. shyt was unreal. That whale brought everyone together. :to:
