I don't help people I know with their computers or phones anymore. This was back when I was Side hustling in college.\\
I was helping a friend'suncle "speed up his phone" (clearing the 50+ tabs on both his browsers, deleting duplicate files, etc. for $30

My aunt asked me to help one of her salon clients with a wireless network issue.
Long story short the woman Husband a Neighborhood legend , volunteers at the church etc etc when I was done the Husband then asked me to help him with his phone being slow I was clearing some stuff up and Bam found some explicit convos and pictures

We apparently busted a local pol involved in shady activity one night while walking the dog. Her minions were moving boxes of papers into some fancy fly cars I can't recall the names of. We only noticed bc they looked so very guilty.

There's this dude who works at the hardware store me and my dad go to. I know him through my dad even tho he's around my age cause my dad and him would always talk about sports. Dude has like 3 or 4 children. I would see him in the gym all the time cause he was a gymhead breh and we would speak (what's up breh) when we saw each other.
Anyway one day I was talking to these 2 chics that I know and somehow we got on the topic of not the hardware store dude but his baby mama. Speaking of which.. I remember I'd lost my phone and one of the guys who worked for me had one so he sold me his. Everything was off the phone except on this one browser was linked his Facebook. I was actually trying to get on Facebook and was like wtf. Why all these profiles and friends on his page look sus?
I decide to hold on to the issue and snoop about it later because it was a new staff and I wanted to know who the fukk I was dealing with..
He seems like the nicest dude and I have no issue with him. But his whole Facebook inbox and other things was hookup connections with other dudes. Like men who go after women don't hoe as much as these men going after men. shyt was disturbing. Grooming high school kids. And that thing goes unchecked when I've seen LGBTQ people do it.. some girl I know was popping up with these high school girls. I'm like huh? Somehow it doesn't count.
Anyway I keep it to myself. He's generally well liked..a bunch of dudes always hanging out at his place. But I know what that's about but no one else every suspected cause it never occured to them.
Fast forward years later.. he goes to work for my mom. By the time I'm in the area he's gotten one of the staff at my mom's place pregnant and he's marrying her..and her people are close to my mom. And I know her also for years. Couldn't get myself to tell her.. hey your dude been fukking other men and you are likely to get sick
Sad story all around. And then the person she used to mess with before that was one of my mother's drivers. And turns out he had multiple wives and died from not taking care of himself when he had HIV. I also know that because of my mother and I don't know if anyone else knew.

Nothing too dark. I feel like the worse type of news I hear on the low is usually how some dude was too aggressive towards another female, borderline assault.
News like that really has me feeling aloof because I barely hang anymore so if I hear news about such and such, the news usually sticks with me. Plus, it just be weird when you find out another dude was sexually inappropriate with some other woman you know.
