Every source I've looked at has given me wildly different results.
I went about it all wrong in hindsight but it was a real mindgame because I did an extreme keto styled diet while powerlifting which just wasn't sustainable (for me) and was on it far too long. I just was a grumpy b*stard all the time
What were you eating around workouts
Man, bulking must be the life.
I mean I already workout 5 days a week, but it's stressful having to restrict calories, avoid large amounts of certain food groups, and do HIIT if you want the weight to get off really fast.
I mean for fukk's sake, I almost fukked up my macros/calories for the day by eating 1 fig newton and 1 oreo cookie
Not to mention all the late night hunger
Meanwhile on a bulk, you pretty much get leverage to stuff yourself as long as it's high in protein. Off the type of my head, that means actually being able to eat snacks sometimes, adding peanut butter to your food, adding milk to your protein shake, freer reign for more food toppings, and pretty much no hunger pangs at night.
I'm at 7 percent but never been more than 10 in my life. Still don't have that 6 pack tho
My 4 pack game strong though, I'm almost there
