Yes they did lose to Florida and Tennessee in the NC game, but FSU laid the blueprint for the bolded. Don't forget that. And Bobby did have a winning record vs Spurrier. Bobby fell off in the 2000s, but it wasn't because of talent. The late 80s and 90s Noles used to STAY loaded defensively and had great olines too. I was a hardcore FSU stan until I got my acceptance letter to GT.

Lol I feel ya fam. As much as i HATE FSU, I "respect" em due to Papa Bowden. FSU is "back" to me and i'ma tell you why; they are FINALLY doing what they are suppose to do. Sounds simple but they are finally dominating. Clemson's D is soft, but I was impressed w/FSU's running game

we're talking about this past decade fam. fsu haven't had the type of dominate defensive AND offensive line in a long time. they're back there AND they have depth too.

The reason FSU fell off in the 2000's was because of the QB's. After Weinke, you had Chris Rix, Xavier Lee, Adrian McPherson, Drew Weatheford, Fabian Walker, Wyatt Sexton. All them dudes were trash. I never thought much of Ponder either, and EJ Manuel hasnt lived up to the hype until this year

That and the lack of a true running game...Booker, Washington, Greg Jones (who was decent but not a game breaker), Willie Reid, Russell Ball, Antone Smith, etc...then don't get me started on the Wideouts like Carr & Preston Parker who couldn't stay out of trouble. Besides in the trenches, we have real depth...if anyone watched that USC-Stanford game they'd realize the importance of that and that's what we really lacking on top shytty coaching
