honestly if i was anyone on their offense id be having this face
all game.no pressure on the qb, florida state running the same plays over and over again, corners getting beat, can't stop the run, clemson got a good ass team, there are only a few teams out there who could put up nearly 40 on fsu. they need to start recruiting heavily on the other side of the ball, even one dude can make a big difference.
hell im sure sammy watkins could have covered and tackled better than the filth out there yesterday.

I didnt watch the entire game last night, but the parts i watched had very little defense. FSU must have found some defense later in the game. FSU has one of the easier schedules this season but that dont mean they wont slip up against a scrub team. The only tough games they have left are Vtech in Virginia, then they got UF in Tally.
That being said, if they have to face Bama in a Chip, Bama would spank dat ass....

. Let's not act like FSU wasn't running shyt including SEC teams for the longest. The talent was there even during this down period. That was not the issue. Their problem was Bobby's coaching (well choice of assistant coaches).

EVERY other coach from different conferences points to that which is what the SEC has the edge in; talented linemen. On the perimeter, all conferences have the same amount of speed and agility when it comes to skilled players; it's the lineman that separates the conference.

Yes they did lose to Florida and Tennessee in the NC game, but FSU laid the blueprint for the bolded. Don't forget that. And Bobby did have a winning record vs Spurrier. Bobby fell off in the 2000s, but it wasn't because of talent. The late 80s and 90s Noles used to STAY loaded defensively and had great olines too. I was a hardcore FSU stan until I got my acceptance letter to GT.

I think the "SEC style" has more to do with depth at positions more than anything. It's bigger than recruiting a couple of skill position studs and thinking you can eat just off of that. I think once Jimbo was able to recruit 2-3 players deep across the field, it brought the level of competition up in practice. Champions are made during the summer. Steel sharpens steel.
Nah, Malbaker is right about this SEC speed tomfoolery cats are cysing. Defensive speed, especially the line, is what most talk about. The only school outside of the premier SEC schools built similarly was the 2000s USC.
