Has Triple H ever had a good PPV match where he was the better performer of the two?

I low-key really liked his HIAC match with Batista. That was the best match they had and I think Hunter held his end on the match. DC Dave was no slouch either though. It's an underrated HIAC match IMO.
The barbwire steal chair was piff and the fake out sledgehammer ending was dope too. Probably Batista best ever match too...

Ok there’s nothing more to add you just posting nonsense now. nikka why are you just now coming into this sub forum to troll? :dahell:
What do you have against facts? HHH was never over as a solo act pre-DX. They gave him Chyna and she was more over than him as a ring enforcer. He won the KOR with Foley getting pedigreed through an announce table for him to crickets.

When he was in DX, he wasn’t more over than HBK, Chyna or the NAOs. Then he fukked Stephanie and Vince pushed him to the moon.

This flat out isn’t true. Especially with Chyna

This is a lie. HHH was getting out popped by every single member of DX. Only time he got better reactions then them was in 2000 when DX were heel, yet when the Outlaws were in separate matches from HHH, they would heavily get cheered. You HHH stans need to get over yourselves. At his highest peak, it simply doesn’t match up to the highest peak of his peers, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Cap af. You could make that argument for Road Dogg because he was fire with the promos but the rest? :camby: Nobody is arguing that he was on the level of the major stars in retrospect. But this shyt about him being a garbage worker who couldn’t hold his own, was never over, etc is crazy . Especially considering there is evidence from the same people y’all are using to shyt on HHH to to the contrary of y’all claims.

HHH already won the title twice before he was ever near Stephanie.

HHH has firmly gotten into the so overrated he's underrated category.

I've always said Triple H is the Jay Z of wrestling.

He was always around, but never the best of any era. His longevity made him more of a legend than the actual body of work. His best works are brought up as great relics by him and his fans, but at the time they were actually happening, they had nowhere near the impact they would lead you to believe. The true GOATs of his era are guys he looked up to, they didn't actually see him as a peer, at times they even disrespected him. (Rock, Tupac in Jay's case.)

As time went on they both transitioned to the big homie role and were able to put a lot of guys on and now people see them as the cornerstone of their craft because without their blessing you may not have a future.

Chyna, HBK and the NAO were all more over than him and got louder crowd pops. Who said he’s a garbage worker? He’s good. But that’s all he is. A good but not great ring worker. Good size and look for a wrestler (no homo). Terrible at promos. Can work a good match with a superior performer. Was never organically over on his own but kissed the right ass and licked the right the p*ssy.

Didn’t say he was a garbage worker, he was just never better than his peers. Only time he was was when his peers were washed. He would no doubt outwrestle Austin, Rock, Mick Foley, and several others in 2020. And again, he was never more other than anyone else in his group. He was getting outpopped by every single member. Other than 100% heel DX from 2000, the only person he was ever more popular than was probably Rick Rude in 1997, and that’s me trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

They were commercial because they were bigger. :russ:

By the way let's not disrespect Outkast, everybody rocked with them, from old school hip hop heads, kids, women, they had music for everybody.

Throw DMX for the very early 2000s and Lil Wayne for the mid to late 2000s (Jay's worst era) also.
