Has Triple H ever had a good PPV match where he was the better performer of the two?

Of course blind fan boy(or hatred) and no rebuttal. Rock was floundering and pure mid card before feuding with HHH in summer 98. Facts. HHH carried the semi retired husk of Foley before the retirement facts. HHH bumped and sold like crazy for taka and had you believe he was actually gonna win. Facts(and he had a habit of doing that for massive underdogs contrary to popular believe) Shall I continue?
Call us fanboys, yet you’re the stan. :mjlol:

OP brought up an interesting point that never crossed my mind. I enjoy Trips matches, but they’ve always been with talent mentioned in OP.

Maybe one match against Khali but that was god awfully boring. I couldn't tell who carried who. Stiff roid traps vs stick legs and back problems...

I’m a HBK stan so wrong again. OP is a known HHH hater so this thread reeks of bias and agenda

I low-key really liked his HIAC match with Batista. That was the best match they had and I think Hunter held his end on the match. DC Dave was no slouch either though. It's an underrated HIAC match IMO.
This.

It was a great match but Batista was a great worker at that point.

At that point feuding with Simmons and Shamrock, Rock was already picking up steam getting boo’d out of the building. You don’t really have your timeframe correct. Also, you said that as if HHH was in the main event. HHH was mid card as well, and as discussed in multiple threads, HHH was actually the least over in his own stable. He is the true greatest B+ player.
The Rock was main eventing and Cripple H was being forced to say I Quit to the Rock while Chyna heeled on him..lol. He was nothing after Summerslam 98.

You are out of your fukking mind.

Even on Essa Rios
How? shyt Austin HIMSELF said HHH had to carry him at No Way Out '01, Rock was still sorta green in '98 and their '00s matches relied on Sports Entertainment fukkery. Judgment Day they both pulled their weight.

And Taker was :flabbynsick: in the early ABA days. HHH absolutely carried dude at X7. And the Batista matches go without saying.
