Yes, and its been noticeable for a few years now, before the current knee issues. Chef is protected and held to a different regard though, especially on this site. Cats are trying to blame this on submissive Kerr and the Golden State personnel BUT If he didn't rely on 3pt shooting so much and instead possessed other aspects to his game to score then some of these negative numbers could be masked or negated even.

Steph should be bbq'd for the subpar play, Klay, Dray, Wiggins (cats that actually delivered countless times in the finals) have been rotisseried for less.

Son should focus on being a legit PG and get that assist average up.

The only metric that Curry has regressed on this season is VORP.

He's been playing up to his career standards otherwise. He's not at the MVP level he was at in 2016 but that's obvious to say.

While my answer is yes of the few games I’ve seen, and the stats. What his ranking is in fg% is worthless since he has games where he only shoots 3s. His eFG is a better metric and both it and fg% are in the neighborhood of where it’s been with some smaller variation of course

He shot one 2 and it was a fat toe on the line, that he missed. So yes, all his points came from 3s. That was the last game I saw, vs BK in November. 8-16 from 3, 8-17 in total. And like I said the single 2 was a failed 3 point attempt

There is a similar thread on here about lebron being washed and having regressed and he has better stats than curry in points, assists, rebounds and a better field goal percentage and defensive rating as well and he is three years older than curry. I just want to understand the reference points and objective metrics we use to guage is a player is regressing in comparison to their previous play. I still think curry is a good player in the league just want to get folks views

Care to actually speak on the substantive issue of this post? Clearly posters on here believe there is credence to curry regression argument based on the poll alone. Thus far his stats are lower across the board and his field goal percentage is 82nd in the entire league.
