The thread is about Bron. The OP even admits so -

This thread isn't based on having an honest discourse around Steph's stay of play. This thread is based on OP being in his feelings about what cats have said about Bron.
I’m pretty sure this thread is about another older star player who’s play has dropped off and the thought process behind it was the discourse around Lebrons declining #’s

You can have a conversation about Steph’s current play, and it not be about LeBron .. the OP hasn’t even mentioned LeBron at all in his post yet the vast majority of posters are unable to have actual dialogue about basketball that isn’t centered around him

You’ve contradicted yourself all throughout this post.

:unimpressed:

Everyone can see what the OP is doing.

This is precisely the issue I am trying to get some feedback on as well. What objective metrics and criterias do people use to gauge a player effectiveness? What determines when a player is regressing in comparison to previous play. I used lebron as an example because he is another all time great player like curry who is aging and who the vast majority of commentary on this forum has been In agreement that he is "washed" and has regressed to the point that he isn't a good player anymore. I pointed out that lebron has better statistics than curry in points, rebound and assists , has a stronger field goal percentage and he has a higher defensive rating as well this season. So does the same criteria fit curry in terms of regression? And if not what's the reasoning behind that as well.
What are the objective and non biased way we judge players and regression?

Reading isn’t your strong suit I see.. use your fingers if you need to, but we can talk about old players and it not be about Lebron.

So yes I do think he is, and it’s pretty obvious that last year there were clear signs.

Idk if it’s just not clickbait worthy to talk about him and his struggles yet or not tho

As if you couldn't be more disingenious.

This board has been waiting for Steph and his style of play to fail since 2015; shytting on GS/Warriors has been one of the most "clickbait" topics of the last 10 years on here. You clearly have absolutely no cotdamn interest in having a genuine discussion about his play, you and the OP are just looking to deflect. Just because cats say dumb shyt about Bron, shouldn't give you reason to do the same about Steph.

You're only undermining your position when it comes to Bron.

His numbers are down on a team that is essentially floundering as well in a tough Western Conference.. this seems very upsetting to you lol

Take a deep breath breh. It’s just basketball discussion

Now you're just projecting.

Steph's career is solidified. There's nothing to be upset about. Stars come and go, the game moves on. That's the way it goes.

I'm not the one who made this thread because they're upset, feeling helpless defending Bron's play this season, so much so they need to deflect, trying to get folks to look in the other direction (which is what you and OP are doing). It's painfully transparent.
