Where the hell Dead Prez selling out shows at..? :what:

and, I know both them cats.. they don't fukk with White girls.. at all.. they both got main chicks, who are Black..

They might not be selling out shows, but let's not act like the vast majority of their fanbase isn't cac'd out. :sas1: Even M1 said the only places where his stage shows were majority black were in Jamaica and even then there would be hella white people in attendance. :russ:

First off, cacs make the majority of almost all rapper fan bases. It's inevitable, they're a 64% majority in the US right now. Black Americans are only 13% of the population. This rule holds true in Europe too. And this "white consumption of 'black culture" has been here forever in various forms. Fats Waller was touring not just the US, but also UK and Ireland before World War 2!

that said, I do think Kendrick is pandering way too much with his comments. The Iggy thing is partly cause she's dating his cousin. But his Ferguson comments have no excuse :pacspit:

The thing is, he DOESNT have to pander. He should know that. Cole sold more than 300K with 0 big singles WHILE BEING OUTSPOKEN AND PROTESTING IN FERGUSON AND NYC

nikkas still believe in these goofy faulty statistics :mjlol:

People overrated Kendrick and GKMC so much due to the hype that it created an unrealistic expectation and gassed his head up, should have given him a chance to grow. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops a better album this time around overall but it's not rated as highly cause the hype machine may die down a little. But the concern would be his ego has been overblown due to the over the top praise. If GKMC was an underground album with no hype hardly anybody would be talking about it or citing it as great. It was more hype than substance to me. Hopefully he will drop a better album, cause he can rap better than some of his abysmal peers but will see....

So The Wu are uncle toms because they grew up and are no longer young 5% militants? expect 40 something rappers with kids to go around talking about Yakub and call half their fanbase devils brehs.

Wu don't disrespect cacs no more because cacs keep them fed. :lolbron: Go to a Wu show today, the only nikkas there are the Wu. I remember some of my homies were scalping Wu tickets outside of a Wu show and saw nothing but a sea of cacs and said "Who's playing? Dave Matthews?" :heh: Back in 93', 94', there were no fukks given about cacs on part of the Wu. :usure: ODB used to get on staged talmbout "Plymouth Rock landed on US". :mjlol: If you were the only cac at a Wu show at some run-down random hood venue in Brooklyn back in 93' when ODB starts talking that shyt, you better mob the fukk out. :demonic:

I agree GKMC is one of the most overrated albums of all time. :scusthov: This new generation isn't used to hearing a solid album. I think it has to do with the Dr. Dre co-sign + being from Compton + being intelligent, lyrical and nonviolent. Folks from outside of Cali, especially cacs, believed every single last nikka from Compton was some superhuman gang banger that gained mystical power from killing other black men like ghetto Highlanders of some shyt. :rudy:

True, a lot of the newer albums have been overrated because it's like that "generation" is desperate to have credible classics so create false ones. But if you compare them to the truly great albums they don't stack up, they don't stack up to truly great work, whether it's underground or whatever, many better albums have been released, but the hype machines and superficial bullshyt brainwashes and programs people so effectively they don't realize they are brainwashed and think it's their own opinions and taste. I maintain if someone else released GKMC it would completely be under the radar. Course, the Dre co sign was huge for it, some people also equate a more rapid flow with skill/greatness lol, and they want to be artsy cause it "poetic", it may be poetic but it isn't dope poetically. People don't have any understanding, I'm not mad at anyone who liked it, but it doesn't fool me at all. I listened with a very open mind, I wasn't following the hype, 2 close friends asked me to check it out cause they wanted my opinion, so I listened expecting something great, it was disappointing. I think also the fact it was a concept album gives it points, but people act like it's the only concept album in Hip Hop history lol, but it's not. Without Dre/Aftermath the album doesn't pop, Last Emperor always been better than Kendrick....

:yeshrug:pressure to conform to mainstream Middle America I assume. I dont know WHY HE CAVED TO THE PRESSURE though. J Cole didnt pander at all, he went full activist mode: protesting in Ferguson, protesting in NYC, making a song about Michael Brown and performing it on National TV, and then selling 300K+ records. He still has his massive majority-cac fanbase. So why does Kendrick feel like he has to be "politically correct" :patrice:

He should've dropped another song like this! This was militant as hell

That was j cole marketing scheme. Lol you still don't get it ? J cole played soooo many people.

You think the label didn't make the calls to have j cole perform on letterman , perform a song that wasn't on the cd. ?? The white man manipulated all that . Don't compare j cole activism to shyt.
