Has anybody else fell off as hard promo wise as the rock?

There's things Rock can do on the mic that still nobody else can do. I'm not doubting The Great One when it comes down to it for a potential program with Roman.

The shift in tone in his delivery of "The Head of The Table" told me all I needed to know.

Everything before that was just jabs to eat up time. You gotta give people a chance to switch over because it's not like he was advertised to be there.

Rock in 2024 on Raw this week sounded like he was just forcing it. That whole promo was cringe worthy. And if The Rock from 1999 met Dwayne Johnson from 2024 he would verbally rip his soul apart.

Hopefully when he gets into the program with Roman he turns it on. But that shyt on Monday wasn’t it at ALL..

All time the usual cast of wwe performers. They taut this thing. Cm punk actually is the only one.
to actually have the definitive wrestlemania promo against taker. along with the payoff match as well.
Plus punk outside of Austin.

Is the only guy in wrasslin history to own the rock.
in a main event program on the mic and workrste as well.


That promo to advertise punk v taker at mania. Is arguably the best mania promo and live spooky theatrics and vignette.
All tied into the spooky taker gimmick with high quality psychology.
in wwe history to advertise a mania match ever.
Plus the best mic work at mania with a taker match at mania as well.

Punk also has arguably the best brock squashes everybody match too. When you atypically.
never rant or rate a a squash.

Punk is an all time great in wrasslin.

Cena was wack on the mic along with rock in that program tho...they're was nuffin there besides seeing the spectacle. As neither had a reason to have a match and wwe. Was to ignorant like usual to really seed and set it up properly. That even rock tore his whole abdominal wall from his body in the match.

Which could have been avoided if McMahon properly planned using a high quality idea about his product and workers.

Now the new company has taken over via merger!?!?!!

It remains to be seen if.
The wwe becomes adept at making a consistent high quality product. To bad I will never know.

And again, he was great on the mic- it was his delivery and him being "The Rock" that made it work. His biggest strength was that he could make shyt funny that was only funny because it was him saying it... you give some of them same jokes to Test or Shelton Benjamin and ain't a chance in hell it gets over.
