The panthers have better weapons because those players are no longer rookies and have developed into better players.

Neither of these are true.
This offense has more weapons than 2015 and the 2015 offense is better than any other panthers offense.
CmC is better than any running back we've had
Cam is better than any QB we've had.
Greg Olsen is better than any TE we've had.
Steve Smith is better than any WR we've had but our current core of WR's were good enough for us to release Torrey Smith and Chris Hogan couldn't make it on the field.
