Has any QB gotten the “needs more weapons” excuse more than Cam Newton?

With every down that passes, you and this post looks more stupid. :mjlol:

Root against your own team’s success and future because you stan a washed up c00n who dresses like the Riddler, brehs.
Like I told you last week.

Raise your child instead of making stupid post attempting to be a tough guy on the internet.

Kyle Allen isn't a rookie.
The panthers fans have said this is the most weapons the team has had maybe ever.

Your post was terrible.

Now you're trying to Juelz.

Allen is a good game manager and what you expect from a backup QB. He isn't a game breaker and he hasn't done enough that the panthers won't start their franchise QB if he's healthy.

First and foremost...I think Cam's time is done in Carolina. However, I do think there needs to be context.

Cam had KB/Funchess....one dude is out of the league and the other is a #4 WR in the league.

In 2017 coming off a shoulder surgery he still led a raw McCaffery (he was nowhere near as good as he is now) and an raw Samuel to 11-5.

Shula was a medicore OC as well.

In 2018 under Norv Cam was playing very well 6-2.....and his shoulder got destroyed again. Hasn't been the same since.

He finally got a good OC, the young Wrs/RBs starting to taking the next step....and he got hurt. This year he started out with a new throwing motion, not much practice and then injured his foot.

Still you gotta give Kyle Allen credit cause he's out here getting it done. However, Cam's weapons were very suspect until last year. He just fukked up shoulder and it derailed his career.

Breh I was with you on this as well...but its time :mjcry:

Cam low key fukked himself by attempting to play hurt. I really think backlash from the Super Bowl had him forcing himself out with an injured shoulder.

If he just sat out after getting hurt vs. the Steelers (got his surgery) he wouldn't have put up the losses/bad play and the narrative would be different. Unfortunately he did and now his value/stock is so down with the owner that I think his time is up.

They ran him ragged carrying the team and they waited too late to put the right pieces (OC/talent) around him. :to:

We've seen QBs have down years and bounce back.

Luck, Rodgers, Wilson and Wentz have all done it recently. You could even throw Ryan and Brees in there if we're being honest.

Backup QBs are good and every team should have one that can win games. We have that.

But nothing about Allen sonfar says Franchise QB so you stick with what you have. Especially considering you don't really want to give a healthy cam Newton to a contender. :yeshrug:

Here's the issue:

Kyle Allen may not be playing at a franchise QB level. However, he's 23 and hella cheap. Cutting Cam's 22 mill off the books frees up the roster to add pieces in a number of places.

An undrafted free agent QB...is winning games...its killing Cam's value. I think if we won the Super Bowl that year he'd have more cache. If he didn't have to deal with Shula and put up more MVP caliber years then this would be just a similar situation to the Saints/Brees/Bridgewater. Cool Bridgewater is playing well, but when Brees is back he's the starter.

Cam doesn't have that. mediocre Shula play calling/line play/wrs in 2014-2017 kept those from being 4 great Cam years to just 1 great Cam year.

Like I said man they ran him into the ground and dismiss him like other Rbs.

This is all true. It’s also true that he has a career 59% completion percentage and often overthrows wide open receivers.

He does.

However, a year after shoulder surgery he got Norv Turner and suddenly completed 68% of his throws.

That Mike Shula offense plus the lack of speed on the outside gave him no "easy throws"

Our defense has 6 turnovers today and y'all are talking about Kyle Allen winning games.

That said, if you Bush Cam and primate KA you're going to have to pay him starting QB money. :francis:
He'll be cheap next year as well though.
