Has any modern basketball players career had more help around him than Kobe?

This is really stupid. Guess what? Kobe didn't win rings with Z-Bo, and there's no guarantee than he would have if the Lakers had gotten him instead. You know who Kobe DID win rings with? Pau Gasol. So he gets credit. That's how it works. There's also no guarantee that Kobe would have won again if the Lakers hadn't raped the Grizz for Gasol, either.

Let's not forget that Kobe was ready to leave and join some other team just like Lebron...and he would have left the Lakers, not drab ass Cleveland, AND its not like he was a free agent like Lebron. No, he was actually demanding a trade. So that's actually much worse than what Lebron did. The ONLY difference is that Lakers management was able to lure more players in to play with Kobe on the Lakers, so he took back his trade demand and he stayed. That's it. None of this "Kobe is his own man while Lebron has to join other teams" bullshyt. Circumstance is the only thing that separated them.

As for Gasol, he is absolutely a HOF'er based on his NBA resume. His numbers and winning back to back titles (and possibly more on the way) is already better than some players in the Hall. Not to mention that he's in automatically just for being the greatest player ever from his home country.

his record as a franchise player is fairly poor. bernard king and mel daniels arent in and their aba/nba careers are better than pau's

at the end of his nba career sure, it will probably be worthy. but he hasn't consistently played like a hof'er enough in the nba for me to always think of him as a hof'er when im watching him. he has had his moments though, granted.

Listing Divac, Ratliff and Mitch is trolling because they didn't help Kobe at all. why don't you factually list all-stars who played with Kobe in their primes.:yeshrug:
Because the threadstarter didn't even do that, which I just told you. Pay attention.

I asked why don't YOU make a list. Start reading the whole post and stop ignoring the other parts. Hip to your style, smarten up. Now stop trolling and make a list.

Wade the turned 30:childplease: still an all-star.
Not sure what this is supposed to mean but I'm gonna assume you're saying he's only 30 and was still an all-star. That's true but it doesn't mean he's still in his prime. Some players are solid and steady and play for 18 seasons. Wade is clearly one of those players that shines bright but for a much shorter time. He was already clearly out of his prime last season, and he's now 7 years past his best year which was in 2006. He's a decade younger than Nash but I bet they'll retire around the same time.

I read everything, I only respond to what I feel is worth responding to. I found no reason to respond to anything else you said, and I find no reason to list the players that were all-stars in their prime while playing with Kobe because a) that's pretty obvious to everyone and b) that's not even what the thread is about. Basically I was just telling OP that if he's gonna troll, at least be the best troll he can be. Don't leave out a half dozen extra players that fit the M-O of the thread.

Off the top of the head? Nash and Shaq have...they've each played with 3 separate MVPs throughout their career...and a vast assortment of All NBA and allstars and Finals' MVPs...Wade's up there too

First of all he's 3 seasons past his best year (2009) and in 2010-2011 season he dropped 25.5/6/5 while shooting 50%( the year Bron and Bosh came) he wasn't healthy last year because of his knee (which he just fixed). So when did his prime end? Kobe hasnt had a player who could have a 25.5/6/5 season since Shaq. Kobe didn't even have Shaq for his prime years, after 2004.
