Not sure what this is supposed to mean but I'm gonna assume you're saying he's only 30 and was still an all-star. That's true but it doesn't mean he's still in his prime. Some players are solid and steady and play for 18 seasons. Wade is clearly one of those players that shines bright but for a much shorter time. He was already clearly out of his prime last season, and he's now 7 years past his best year which was in 2006. He's a decade younger than Nash but I bet they'll retire around the same time.
D. Wade's best year was in the 2008-09 season. The season before last he beasted in the finals and was about to be finals MVP. This past year he was hur throughout, but that by no means shows that he's past his prime. He's lost a step, but not to the extent that he's not still one of the 10 best players in the world. Bosh is a top 15-20 player.
(To this thread generally) At no point in Kobe's career has he had two other top 20 players on his team. He and Shaq just both happened to be top 5 and then the dropout after was huge. The 08 LA Lakers never had a healthy Bynum. That team was based around Kobe, Odom and Gasol. The same Odom that for most of his career was not even considered better than a guy like Shawn Marion. THe same Odom who spent his entire career being "all star caliber" instead of playing in the all-star game. No one was calling Gasol better than Bosh pre-LA trade.
Having Bosh and Wade>>> Gasol and Odom.
This upcoming LA team will be the most talented team that Kobe has ever played on and he, Nash, Artest and Gasol are all no longer in their primes.
