Harden doesn't strike me as a max contract player he is worth in that next range however. He will put up 20 5 and 5 but that doesn't make a max contract player. So Houston has it's money tied up in a bunch of PFs Lin/Harden and Asik :noah:

people are clearly naive and blind to the situation...5 ,6 mill is a lot of money..but over the 4 year contract its not THAT serious to leave his situation at OKC......................The REAL reason is because he is tired of being the 3rd option. He knows what his value is,has confidence, and feels like "Damn, its bad enough I'm the 3rd fukking option coming off the bench when I feel like I could be the best player on the team, but now they don't wanna cough up a "few more" bucks?" He is tight and his pride was hurt thats all

Because he isn't....

Teams are handing out these Max contracts all willy nilly out of fear more than anything else. It's less about making the right move for their team and more about being scared the player is going to go to another competitive team.

OKC went about that shyt the right way..

"Oh you wanna be a max player? Go be a Max Player in Houston bytch"...

The move definitely hurts the team in the short term, but gives loads of flexibility in the long term and doesn't make any of their legit competition stronger.

Hibbert and Brook Lopez got the max...so Harden deserves it if they do

I'm not mad at any player for getting to the money but isn't this what the lockout had alot to do with. It's about 8 players in the NBA who deserve the max because I'm adding in merchadise also but for Harden to get it My Boy Monta better be :lolbron:

That The Terrible Reasoning That's fukking Up Teams Financial Situations

They Dont Deserve Max Either

At Least They Start, Harden Dont Even Start

I Cant See Max Money Coming Off The Damn Bench

You can never be mad at the players in this situation...

shyt is entirely the fault of most of these owners. Most of us were saying it from the jump, the Lockout was mostly about protecting dumb ass owners from themselves and punishing successful teams.

NBA owners think they should be able to make a profit even when their business if failing.
