The wild card is Lamb. In his short time here, he demonstrated he needs the ball ball to be productive. He was the man at UConn and in high school, so of course he probably feels he needs to be the man to be productive or for his team to win . He's horrible off the ball, but i think this works for OKC because they dont have a lot of playmakers so maybe lamb can potentially fill Harden's shoes. I remember Harden didnt look good his first year, so we'll see.

You must have missed the year Uconn won the title because he was a perfect compliment as a 2nd option to Kemba Walker his freshmen year and he hit huge shots every tourney game

Hes in the perfect spot in OKC hell flourish there eventually as a perfect third of fourth option

I agree that in the future it's great

but short term as in this year I think they're worse...and wasting a year of Durant and Westbrook's prime for a look to the future isn't something I would do...but Presti knows way more than me and has proven to be savvy, so we'll see how it all plays out.

The fukked up thing is......These nikkas are not even in their prime yet....

he really isn't. you'll see for yourself this season.

We'll see. Just know that me and skills have seen a lot more of KMart over the years than most here on the coli, specially considering that houston hasnt had a nationally televised game in 3 years and we seen a lot of harden.

nobody was more effected by the rules changes than kmart. that was like 40% of his offense.

i dont know how this work out but igoing by potentially. we dont even know hardens and lin real true potetnial in a full season at an elevated role but we do know KMarts.

Yall sound stupid. Rockets played in a hgih tempo, high scoring offense and Lowry,Dragic were great setup men. KMart wasnt even the first option oin our offense like some of you were assuming becasue he can't create. he had to be setup and he was setup well. Dragic, Lowry were getting him open shots. I dont know how his production improves with Kmart/Durant where he will play the same role in their offense as our where he ahs to be setup. I cant imagine OKC elevating his role in the offense but if they do:hmm:

The fukked up thing is......These nikkas are not even in their prime yet....

you know what...that's very true...but it'll be interesting to see just how much more they develop

and my point is more in the vein of...when you have a legit shot to win rings...i don't like the thought process of making it tougher to win one that year to have a better shot in the future, because their set up before trade gave them a great shot...post trade they are hoping it gets better...but injuries and busts in the draft can happen...and then maybe wasting that great chance wasn't worth it

oh well...it's just a different way of thinking

and like I've said...Presti has proven to be a very smart man...far be it for me to think he didn't just pull off a great move...I'm just a bit skeptical

I really don't think you watched enough Kevin Martin then

he's not a good shooter...like not at all...maybe he was a few years ago

but injuries and the new foul rules have destroyed his game

last year the Rockets were much better to me when Martin was on the bench and injured...I can't stand watching him play...he's awful.

and I have no doubt Harden will be less efficient with less talent...but i think his overall production will go up due to many more opportunties...we'll see...I think he massively outperforms what Martin/Lamb were going to give us

my only issue with the trade is Houston stupidly giving up their draft pick assets....that's where I feel Presti will really shine in this trade

i watched him nikka. dont worry about that. thing is no team with kmart being the #1 option is gonna go anywhere. all harden knows how to do is shoot 3's and layups. kmart will get less attention in okc. hes a better shooter than harden. i ain't sayin kmart gonna be the 2nd coming or anything like that, but harden isn't a massive upgrade at all.

what good harden's production gonna be if he's shooting low 40's and your team aint going anywhere?

:usure:

if maynor stays healthy, they certainly won't be worse. and as i said if kmart doesn't work out... his contract is up at the end of the year. one year is NOTHING to waste to the potential they could get with those first rounder picks. the potential could be them dominating for 5+ for arguably throwing one year away. and lets face it, harden wasn't gonna be the answer to their problems anyway.

damn didnt know harden is gonna be a restricted free agent. so houston will match any offer. i still dont see what their plan is. i mean you trading away your lotto picks. yet, now im not sure your bad enough to get a top 10 pick. so now what

You havent watch kmart play. he wasnt the number one option on the team. he didnt een close out games all the time. in crunch time, the ball wasnt in his hand. it was in dragic's or lowry's. rarely in kmarts. the year before it was in aaron brooks, or lowry's hand.

I honestly just really disagree with your assessment of Martin...but that's fine...once the games start maybe my mind will be changed...maybe my annoyance at him is making me lessen his value...all I can say is that Rockets fans as a whole are happy as hell that we don't have to watch him be awful for us anymore...it was driving me insane

and I've already explained my reasoning on the second point...and I can certainly see where the potential for long term domination is tantalizing...I just think it's much, much riskier...long term means banking on no big injuries and draft picks panning out...and those things are fickle by nature.

:pachaha: Why are all you nikkas hating on Harden and Rockets fans?

Harden is a top 5 SG with a great potential...:stopitslime:

Oh he was nervous and stunk it up in the Finals...learning experience..:smh:

Thunder got some good draft picks, but Kevin Martin is trash...I'm in OKC so on Facebook I'm seeing nikkas looking at K-Mart's PPG and thinking it's all gravy and he can replace Harden. :smh:

This is a automatic Lakers vs. Heat finals. I'm not sure if I want to say that the Thunder are the second best team in the West. :smh:

Why not. You act like Houston is a small market. We had plenty of legendary players here.

Wont be hard to get a nice SF to play here. Especailly when you have the cap space. We'll be bettter than your soft ass squad soon. bank on that, chump. Houston >>> OKC in 2013.

You better hope Terrnce Jones don't start actin damn fool cuz if he do, lookout for Clutch City.

That nigguh been a beast in preseason

Terrence Jones power slam - YouTube

nigguhs dont want it

Did you honestly set there & say Houston>>>OKC next year? :snoop:

MAn,you nigguhs ignorant. Lin is here and so is asik whose a lot better than he was advertised in Chicago. Got two first round picks this year in Terence Jones and Royce White, who we have to wait to see how they turn out.

Lin ressurected the Knicks last season with less. Give him Harden and another star with the rest of our cast and we contenders.

:wow:
