can someone explain to me why the Thunder didn't just pay Harden?

I don't think they got better with this trade...they might not have got worse in some people's opinion...but it's hard to make the argument that they got better

and the franchise turned what...30 million in profit last year?...the owners are billionaires...they can't afford Harden?...give me a break.

how didn't they get better?:russ:

even if kmart doesn't work out... his contract expires at the end of this season. plus they got TWO first round picks and one 2nd round pick..... this put them in great position for the future.

two first round picks by themselves >>>>>>>>>> harden

The rich just got richer. With that Toronto pick and how stacked the east is now I can easily see the Thunder leaving the draft with Cody Zeller. Then let's see how much those Lakers fans celebrate. OKC gon fukk around and draft a center in next years lottery. That should scare every nikka that rock with a western conference squad.

Please don't tell me Houston didn't protect those picks :why:

MAn,you nigguhs ignorant. Lin is here and so is asik whose a lot better than he was advertised in Chicago. Got two first round picks this year in Terence Jones and Royce White, who we have to wait to see how they turn out.

Lin ressurected the Knicks last season with less. Give him Harden and another star with the rest of our cast and we contenders.

the fukk u just say :childplease:

all things equal - there's lil difference between their efficiency. kmart is the better shooter as well. as i said before, kmarts FG% should go up and harden's will DEFINITELY go down, ain't no doubt about it. harden benefited playing with durant/sabo and it really didn't take long for teams to figure out his gimmicky-shooting as well.

I really don't think you watched enough Kevin Martin then

he's not a good shooter...like not at all...maybe he was a few years ago

but injuries and the new foul rules have destroyed his game

last year the Rockets were much better to me when Martin was on the bench and injured...I can't stand watching him play...he's awful.

and I have no doubt Harden will be less efficient with less talent...but i think his overall production will go up due to many more opportunties...we'll see...I think he massively outperforms what Martin/Lamb were going to give us

my only issue with the trade is Houston stupidly giving up their draft pick assets....that's where I feel Presti will really shine in this trade

I agree that in the future it's great

but short term as in this year I think they're worse...and wasting a year of Durant and Westbrook's prime for a look to the future isn't something I would do...but Presti knows way more than me and has proven to be savvy, so we'll see how it all plays out.

short term we probably gotten significantly worse, but long term i think we are here to dominate

This is how I see it.....This is gonna put pressure on Westbrook to be more of a play maker also.

The Picks aren't protected. Now those Lakers fans ain't so happy.

Edit-If the Toronto pick is top 3 protected it still won't matter because they won't be the 3rd worse team.
