not this season, but long term:yep.

You're assuming Harden is gonna want to stay there long term and Lin will continue to develop.

Harden has been on a competitive team his entire career. He's gonna want to compete AND get paid. If he was willing to play hardball with OKC he's gonna be looking to bleed Houston dry.

I've always been a big Maynor fan...going back to his VCU days

so I have no doubt he's going to fill that role just fine

but if you think Kevin Martin is going to fill in that offense as efficiently as Harden did then you are sadly, sadly mistaken...you might be better off hoping Lamb hits his potential right away...Martin is rancid

Eric maynor, kevin martin, lamb, perry jones collison we will be more then fine.

I applaud OKC for what they did.....

They weren't pussies about it on some "He's holding our franchise hostage" bullshyt that other teams be on. They tried their best to make a deal and just got to a point where they had to move on. That's business for ya.

we'll see...I think they'll miss Harden's efficiency...but maybe one of the young guys surprises me and breaks out...or maybe Martin was just not trying in Houston...who knows

but I see a drop off

They'll be enough, but you can't even front like this isn't a blow to the team. Harden was hands down the third most important player on that team, both from a skills standpoint and from a chemistry standpoint.

yea, its pretty disappointing cause we are missing an additional play maker. from the scoring perspective im not worried. from what i seen from ibakas game and his refined jumper he now has the capabilities to be that 14-15 and 9 guy. he's now hitting 3s with consistency and no hitch.

The wild card is Lamb. In his short time here, he demonstrated he needs the ball ball to be productive. He was the man at UConn and in high school, so of course he probably feels he needs to be the man to be productive or for his team to win . He's horrible off the ball, but i think this works for OKC because they dont have a lot of playmakers so maybe lamb can potentially fill Harden's shoes. I remember Harden didnt look good his first year, so we'll see.

MAn,you nigguhs ignorant. Lin is here and so is asik whose a lot better than he was advertised in Chicago. Got two first round picks this year in Terence Jones and Royce White, who we have to wait to see how they turn out.

Lin ressurected the Knicks last season with less. Give him Harden and another star with the rest of our cast and we contenders.
real talk i always thought the kniicks should have traded Melo. :shaq: Melo puts up great individual numbers but dude ain't about "successful team" life:lolbron: When Lin was running things with D'Antoni, everybody was balling.

once Melo came back, got D'antoni fired and Mr potatoe Head as his coach, the team reverted back to mediocrity.
