Please tell me how teams prepare for Alex who is less explosive and doesn't stretch the field?

The sad thing is yall don't watch the games...we were almost in the superbowl last year because of our defense, special teams and running game. Alex was along for the ride and made the occasional play. He is not that important to the offense.

The irony of this was it was our special teams and to a degree defense that kept us out the superbowl..... Go figure.

Trolling? No trolling my friend. ONE guy not named Alex Smith made 2 costly turnovers in the 4th quarter and in our readzone that lead to all the pressure being put on the DEFENSE to make a stop, who couldn't and unfortunately got diced by Manning.

We can get on Alex if you like about what you stated, but does this mean we can't get on how our defense couldnt keep the G's from converting 3rd downs and blah blah?

Also the thing that kills me about the criticism of the no passes to WR thing is peeps act like Vernon Davis ain't go off. I mean how many games has it been with VD leading thr team in receptions and yards?

If it wasn't criticism in those games, why all of a sudden peeps wanna criticize now?
