He should. I think he should start in NO too. And it's not because Alex is better...I just couldn't remove a guy after a 6-2 start...no matter how bad he is.

hm okay. I cant say I share this sentiment. for me, if you can upgrade a position, you go for it so far kaep looks like an upgrade...as long as he doesnt cause bad turnovers he will be at least as good as alex...

The media and people in here will second guess the decision if Kaep struggles but Harbaugh has more knowledge of the game in his pinky finger than 99% of the population.

Harbaugh sees them in practice every day. He realizes that Alex is limited and Kaep has more God given ability and room to progress.

If Harbaugh feels that the best chance to win it all is through Kaep than that's a decision I can respect because we have seen what Alex can and cannot do. Could the Niners win with Alex? Yes, I believe they could but the MARGIN of error is so fukking small... The defense has to play perfect and the running game has to show out because you know that when the chips are down Alex is not the best option for scoring quickly and often..

I figure it would start a QB controversy that might spiral out of control. I KNOW for a fact that Kaep can outperform Alex...just didn't want this to be a distraction.

Kaep will likely struggle but I have no issue with that. I said last year that I'd forego winning right now if it meant in 2-3 years we'd be a power house with an elite QB. I'm willing to sit through his growing pains.
