It's interesting how China has rejected Star Wars. They did fine with the force awakens but it's been huge drops since. Like they had their chance with the force awakens and China didn't like it and its been downhill since.

I think it might be because all these new star wars films are leaning so heavily into fan service and nostalgia that China doesn't have for the franchise.

Also, China tends to stay away from "darker" movies. While modern day Star Wars might seem pretty light to us, Chinese audiences like up-beat stuff a lot. They don't fukk with that oppressive totalitarian empire shyt at all, and it's why they eat up stuff like Marvel and Fast & Furious.

Which is stupid, Billy D Williams laid the blue print, I can see if they wanted to say he was an Xenosexual and was knocking down 3 titty aliens but that wouldn't pander to the emasculation of the Black male and fit their gay agenda.

They aint do that for black panther nor infinity war. I mean its so bad they showing the same preview twice during the same commercial break.

Imo it sounds like this pre-sale numbers aren't what they seem.

Wasn't as funny as i thought it would be tbh

Glover had Lando on point with the mannerisms and talk.

Solo was okay don't think Ford can ever be replaced but he was good

L3 was star of film

Bit too much ex machina as they say imo

It's okay, prob give it a 7/10 a good heist movie. Guess I expected more in terms of funny moments.

Didn't really devle into Hans upbringing, did find it how he got his surname though I never knew that.

Wouldn't say its a must watch, guess we been spoiled with BP, Deadpool 2 and IW.

Can't see it doing huge numbers at all

Emillia Fox looks much better with dark hair

This flick, I am not sure what it's tracking but it will suffer a huge 2nd week drop but will end up making more than DP2 in the states I would assume still.

Updated predictions/tracking is showing solo opening up anywhere from 90-110 million. It's opening less than DP2 and most likely making less.

and WW the movie is outright bombing in some countries. Like 40-80% below rogue one

Nothing is set in stone though. Let's see how the legs are.
