They are idiots if they do this. Call of Duty, Battlefield, will dominate the FPS market around that time. Spring would be when all these new games get old and Halo would be fresh.
1. It's on Gamepass, MS is really pushing it, so the avg Xbox user will know about it and have it for free. BF and COD will be $60/$70.
2. The multiplayer is free for all, so it's going to attract more ppl. Plus, XCloud might be on IOS by that point, so that opens it up to more casuals.
Release it a week before BF/COD, maybe do more of those special Gamepass giveaways(Chips A Hoy, Discord,etc), and you'll have a big playerbase.
